Wondering who the person on the other end was, I exchanged glances with Jhena in hope to get clues but she was wearing a blank expression.
"Sir." Zoey's voice rang in the hallway and at that instant, my blood ceased flowing. Artemis was the intruder — he must have heard all my discussion with Jhena.
Shaking with fright, I began to rack my head for things to say to him but couldn't come up with any.
"Not the right room?" My father's voice came through.
