Isobella POV
The sun rays seeped through the curtains, coaxing me out of my sleep the next morning as the memories of the last night invaded my thoughts. What exactly was going through Brady's mind when he kissed me? Thankfully, Artemis didn't see anything and I was wise enough to warn Brady never to do that again. Artemis had married me against my wishes but I wasn't about to desecrate our marriage vows.Suddenly, my eyes caught a piece of paper on the dresser and immediately, I reached out for it.
'I'm sorry about last night. I had an important trip to embark on last night to Nevada. See you soon.' the paper read and even without looking at the name attached at the bottom of the paper, I knew at once it was Artemis.
