LOGINAlpha Tristan Pov
I was deep in paperwork when my beta walked into my office. “Alpha king, I have got information about your brother,” he said, dropping a file on my desk. I nodded and glanced through it, if only my brother knew I was just making peace with him. I didn't want to fight anymore or was he guilty of what he did to me? “This is good” I commented, hiding the file in my lower drawer. “Alpha king the banquet is coming closer, probably you could find your Luna” my Beta said. I was the new Alpha king of the moon rise pack, I was holding a banquet for all the Alpha's of the north to come together. Most people thought my brother was going to rule but they were wrong. My brother has successfully brought the rogues together in order to fight me. “With all due respect Alpha, You're over 25 years old and unmated the pack needs a Luna. You know what happens when other Alphas finds out you are yet unmated” I knew my beta was looking out for me but I was still looking for the mysterious girl who saved me when my brother left me half dead to die in the woods by the dangerous beast of the night. Although my vision blurred, I could still remember her face covered with a cloth but her eyes and hair weren't. I remembered her slicing her palm and giving me her blood to drink. I still have those faded memories of her. I have searched for her all these while hoping I could find her to thank her for the favor she did to me. “Josh gather the warriors we will attack by night fall but before then gather the commander and enforcer we have meeting” “Yes my Alpha” he replied before walking away to carry out my orders. I was in the discussion room with the commander, enforcer and other high rank warriors. They had already gathered for us to strategize how to attack my brother. Taking out the maps I placed it on the table before something popped into my mind. Just like the first attack of my brother, someone snitched among us. Someone within us was a traitor. “We have a traitor here” a loud gasp interrupted the room. If I didn't have a traitor how was it possible for my brother to attack, wiping almost half of my soldiers and almost getting me killed. “I respect loyalty, the Alpha's banquet is coming up and I don't want my brother to disrupt the peace of the celebration and that is why we must attack now but someone among you is a spy” they looked at each other obviously thinking who the spy was but I was already prepared. “Josh get me the portion” I commanded my betta while my eyes were fixed at the man who thought he was smart enough to deceive us. Josh came back just immediately with the portion on his hand, it was poison which could paralyze your limbs and render one useless after which it will slowly eat you up. It could kill within eight days but before them you have to go through excruciating pain before you die. Taking a walk round the table, taking my chances hoping he was going to confess. “This is the deadliest poison with a rare antidote which is not commonly found. It kills so slowly but you pass through hell each single day. I will force this through the mouth of the traitor but I can save your life if you confess to me” I warned, there was an eerie silence as everyone was scared at my proclamation. No one made a sound. Each step I made was full of suspense as their gaze trailed back at me, their mind filled with the trended accusation. Who could have the gut to betray me? It was the question yet unanswered “You” I gripped his clothes and asked the guards to bring him down while he struggled. “Please Alpha, have mercy” he begged but it was too late. The guards forced his mouth open, I poured the content of the poison into his mouth. He jerked as red lines of his veins were visible on his skin, it wasn't too long before the poison became effective. I wanted everyone to see this as a lesson. “Take him to the dungeon” I ordered, everyone looked at me with their mouths open in surprise. I personally did that to instigate anyone who tries to betray me. “Let's continue with our discussion” I could see how tense they were unlike before, they struggled with their speech. “We attack by nightfall, killing all the rogues. I want my brother alife with no single injury. The distance from here to the dark knight is about 1000 miles away which is a long journey. We set out by nightfall today with the fastest horses and carriage and before the next day we will be at the dark knight” “How many soldiers do we have?” I asked my beta. “We have about 10,000 soldiers” “We go with 5000 soldiers while the rest stay in the pack to secure the pack. Gather all the strongest men and armors we need. Rogues can be deadly” I warmed We set out for war. I wanted to bring my brother home, instead of him hiding among the rogues and hatching attacks on me.He shouldn't be part of those lawless wolves. I knew exactly what he wanted. He wanted to be the Alpha king. We rode down north and were attacked by nightfall. My brother was captured and brought back to the pack. I lost over 1000 soldiers but with the moon goddess being by our side we were able to win the war. “Bring in my brother” I ordered one of the guards sitting on my throne. He was dragged in with chains. My eyes fluttered at the memories of us together. “Brother is this what you want for yourself to always fight me. We are blood and siblings and shouldn't fight each other” “Are you here to lecture me?” Jason, my brother , spat out in disgust. “It should have been you who was supposed to have burnt in that fire not me and now I have lived with the burden of it and you being the Alpha king” he said bitterly, all my life I had apologized for that same night but I guess he wasn't going to forgive me. “Stay here with me, you can have the villa and the east coast and we can rule side by side without fighting each other”JOSH’S POV The cold, calculated hum of my office was the only sound in the room as I leaned back in my chair, staring at the phone on my desk after I had dropped the phone. I just got off the phone with Seraphine and she had this brilliant plan. My daughter, Seraphine, had been through enough. She had suffered enough because of Tristian. He had hurt her emotionally and mentally and this was the right time for him to pay back. I also needed to keep Selena distracted from her investigation with the healing lady. She’d be very worried about Tristian being with Seraphine instead of thinking about the healing lady Selena. The name alone made my blood boil. The audacity of that woman to think she could put her nose in my business made me feel a pain in my chest. She was a bitch and I’ll treat her like one. She should be lucky I hadn’t squashed her like a bug yet. I was just curious about her. I wanted to know what she thought and what her motive was about the healing lady. I wanted to
SERAPHINE’S POV I had a pretty bad fall. I didn't notice the pain at first because I was basking in the glory that I had finally gotten what I wanted. I had a cut on my head and I was scheduled for surgery to stitch it up. I had requested Tristian’s presence before I was moved to the theatre, and it was nice to see him taking care of me. The first thing I felt was the dull ache in my chest, a sensation that pulled me back into reality like a rope tugging me from a deep ocean. My eyelids fluttered open, heavy and unwilling, and the stark, sterile light of the hospital room greeted me with a coldness that mirrored how I felt inside.I turned my head slowly, ignoring the burning tightness in my throat, and scanned the room. It was empty except for the beeping machines and a bouquet of wilting daisies on the bedside table. My heart sank, not from the pain of the surgery, but because Tristian wasn’t there. Why did he leave me? He was supposed to be on my side till I was okay. This was t
SERAPHINE’S POV Failure tasted bitter, and I hated it. It sat heavy on my tongue as I stared out the window of my room. The laughter from the pack members celebrating another successful hunt grated on my nerves, a cruel reminder of how everything around me seemed to be going right—except for me. Everything I wanted never worked. It made me feel like I was useless. Selena had it all. Her name alone was enough to make my blood boil. That perfect little wolf who had somehow enchanted Alpha Tristian, turning him into her loyal protector. No matter what I did, no matter how carefully I laid my plans, she always came out unscathed. Worse, she always came out stronger.I gripped the windowsill until my knuckles turned white. This time, I thought I had her. The plan had been flawless—or so I’d believed. A few carefully taken pictures, some whispered rumours and a staged moment of intimacy between Selena and Josh, who played the part. It was supposed to end with Tristian rejecting her, with
PHINEHAS’S POV Everything was normal in the pack house. Just as I expected, Tristian and Selena were together again. What they shared was beautiful and It’ll never be broken. Not by greedy people like Seraphine or Jason. Their love was something that would never be broken—it was pure and beautiful. They reminded me of the old days when I was in love with my late wife. We were perfect. The feeling was beautiful and genuine, and we felt like we could do anything together. We were free beyond all measures, and the best part of it was that I got to be myself around her. I got to be the funny and goofy Phinehas around her. She loved me utterly and with everything in her—I loved her too. Everything changed one night. The night I lost her, and that was the night I became a beast. I’ve seen pain, hurt and scars. But nothing killed me more than that night. The night she died in my arms, all because I wasn't there to protect her from the rogues that attacked her. I took her with my son out
SELENA’S POV When he talked about having a child, I had a slight ache on my chest. It was something I thought I was over. Am I being selfish? Why do I torture him? He’s trying to hide all the ache beneath him and pretend he was okay with it, I can see it. I can feel it. This wasn’t him. I laughed it off the bathroom, pretending like I didn't see the hurt he was in. How can Alpha King exist without an heir? How do I tell him that I was scared of birthing a child as weak as I ?m. I’m not even a full werewolf yet, what would I produce? How can I give him an heir without a wolf? All these thoughts filled my head. It was consuming me and causing my heart to ache slightly. My life was just a rollercoaster of emotions. One minute, I’m free and happy thinking about nothing, and another minute, I’ll feel like ripping my heart out of my chest. This was what I felt right now—a hollow ache. I can't handle my son hating me for making him a freak. My mother has her wolf, I couldn't blame her b
TRISTIAN’S POV Selena was making me go crazy at this point. Her warm mouth consumed the whole of my dick. It gave me a sensation I never wanted to end—pleasure. Fuck.“Sele—”Her name subtly escaped my lips. She placed her tongue on the cap, just like I wanted, and she began licking it like a lollipop. She went round and round; at the same time, she stroked the other part with her hand. How could she multitask? “Your dick is so good, baby,” she said as kept stroking while fixing her gaze on me. “Fuck—Yeah.”“You like it?”“Yes,” she said. She put the full dick back in her mouth, deep in her throat that I could hear the gwak-gwak sound she was making. This was the best part of it—the precum. It was an outburst of ecstasy. I pulled out immediately, I wanted to save some for the main course. I caressed her jaw, turning her to face me. She still has some saliva all over her mouth. She was a sexy little thing and it made me want more. My eyes caught her nipples and immediately, my
