Chap 2: A sale took place between the three men.

He seemed to have ordered his bodyguard to lift me up. At this close distance, I could clearly see this man's face. My heart seemed to stop beating for a moment because this was the same man who had taken my virginity three years ago. The man I can't forget with his dark black hair hanging over his forehead, his perfect face, insanely beautiful, and his pale blue eyes piercing my soul. Confusion reigned within me.

"Please save me." I gasp, the words dry like sawdust in my mouth. I couldn't hold back my tears and cried right before him. I'm so scared, and I don't know who to turn to right now except him.

At my pleas, he swept his sharp, hawk-like eyes, looking at me from top to bottom to judge me for who I was. I looked down at my bare feet in shame; I looked so messy, like a beggar. I wondered if he saw my poor situation and came to my aid?

"Sorry for obstructing your path. She's drunk and speaking unsavory words. Now we will bring her back."

I was startled to hear Charles' blatant lies. He looked at me and gave me a dangerous smile.

"No, I don't drink. He is lying. They are gangsters and want to arrest me. Please don't take his word for it." I yelled at the words of the person I hated the most and held on to the glimmer of hope that the man standing next to me wouldn't believe Charles's words.

However, my faith and hope seemed to be shaken when Kirk spoke up to confirm Charles' words were true, to remove all doubts from him.

"That's right, every time my little sister drinks alcohol, she makes a mess like that."

"You're not my brother," I screamed in despair, my throat getting sore.

"Really? Hmm." The hoarse voice made me shiver. I looked up at him bewildered and shook my head frantically; it wasn't true. But in return, he looked at me, his eyes narrowing slightly and flashing. He sneered and said sarcastically: "So you're from the gangsters? It's disgusting."

Then he glanced over at Charles and Kirk, exposing their lies and not forgetting to warn them: "Do you think I can believe these clumsy lies? I don't know what you're trying to capture her for, but you're getting in my way. Now drag her and get out of here before I go crazy."

I was stunned, my body seemingly frozen by his cold words; it was like a knife stabbing me in the heart in the cruelest way. I clenched my teeth, trying not to show the fear surrounding me. I decided to beg him one more time because right now, he was the only lifeline I could hold onto that could save my life.

I didn't hesitate for another second; I resolutely got up, dashed towards the man, knelt down, and urgently begged for help. I put my cold, trembling hand on his and stammered, "Don't leave me here. I'm scared. Please!"

When the bodyguards saw me act like that, they simultaneously pulled out their guns and pointed them directly at my head, causing my fear to increase. I squeezed his hand and cried like a child who lost his mother. I wish they could shoot me dead right now because they could help me escape a life full of suffering.

His fingers start to move and squeeze my hand. He sat down, facing me, and stared at me. His warm breath on me calmed me down from my panic and gave me a sense of security.

I said in sobs: “Please save me! They…they want…want to sell me! If I fall into their hands, I will surely become miserable, and my life will end here.”"The gangsters are all a bunch of bugs. A beautiful girl like you, why did you have to hook up with that scum?"

Suddenly, he leaned close to my ear and whispered, his voice so deep and so seductive that I became confused; my heart felt like it was about to burst in my chest. I looked at this arrogant man with wide, teary eyes, his words were calm, but I could feel his anger. It's like an insult to me.

"Let go of your hand." He coldly ordered me. I panicked, quickly let go of his hand, and whispered, "Sorry. Because I…"

He hadn't even heard what I had to say, so he stood up and walked over to Charles and Kirk. I sat leaning against a nearby car, my body shivering with cold and pain from the wounds that Kirk and his father had abused me.

I couldn't quite hear what the three of them were talking about, but when the man turned to look at me, I noticed the disgust in his eyes for me. His cold stare made me feel cheap like Kirk looked at me when he knew I was no longer a virgin.

He waved his hand, motioning for his bodyguard to bring me back in front of them. My heart was filled with anxiety and insecurity; I was so scared that I couldn't walk; every step was torture. Instead, the bodyguards dragged me over to the man.

I no longer had the strength to stand on my feet, the skin under my feet was blistering, so I could only kneel at his feet in front of Charles and Kirk. However, that man pulled me up roughly; I gritted my teeth and endured the pain that radiated from my feet to all over my body. On the one hand, I had to cling to his arm for balance. I feel like I'm being bullied.

Then he looked at me, his lips curling into a cold, dangerous smile. It made me feel scared.

"I just heard a rather interesting story about you. And…" He lifted my chin to examine it and looked at me again with a look of disdain; he leaned close to my ear and spoke in a shady voice that made me shiver. "I'm starting to get interested in you. So I'll save you this time."

I gulped, trembling hands clutching at the hem of his vest, my heart almost bursting out of my chest. I was shocked, scared, and excited when this man agreed to save me.

"Thank you!" I humbly said. I don't know if I was looking at it wrong, but suddenly I felt anger in his eyes. The prominent blue veins on his forehead confirmed it for me once again. He's just controlling his rage.

Then he looked at Charles and gave a cold laugh, saying dangerously: "I'll repurchase her. The two of you bid."

My heart skipped a beat; it took me a while to realize my current situation. That's right, in the eyes of rich people like him, I just look like a cheap commodity. I lowered my head to hide the tears that were falling down endlessly because of the hurt I was suffering. I bit my lower lip to cry without making a sound.

"50,000 USD."

Kirk offered a relatively high price in an excited tone. I glanced at him, and greed was evident on his face. Suddenly, Charles grabbed Kirk by the collar and growled, "You're such a dog. You agreed to sell her to me. Are you going to turn your face over?"

Kirk half smiled; he said casually: "Whoever bids higher, I will sell to that person. Didn't you say she's no longer a virgin, so you just bought it cheaply? But to others, she is more valuable."

I glanced at the man standing next to me; at the same time, he looked down at me; his eyes seemed to swallow me whole, making me panic. I couldn't open my mouth to say a word; the pain and self-pity choked me.

Suddenly, Charles pulled me towards him and used his toned arms to squeeze my body. As soon as I left the other man, I began to panic and fear. I struggled helplessly and shouted, "Let go."

Charles looked at me, gave me a sly grin, then turned to Kirk and said, "Okay. I'll pay you $100,000. Are you satisfied now?"

However, Kirk did not rush to agree; he knew that this man was rich; how could he ignore this delicious and lucrative prey. He said brazenly, "What about you, sir?"

I gasp; my heart beats faster and faster, and what I fear is increasing. He remained silent and looked at me. This noble man's gaze wrapped around me like an invisible rope. It seems like he's re-evaluating me again to make a final decision. I noticed the coldness in his pale blue eyes as if he was painting me with evil colors.

"Please! Please save me. Don't leave me alone." I mumbled, crying and begging him fervently.

The man stood up straight, glanced at me with indifferent eyes, and coldly said: "Girl, I'm so sorry. I can't save you now."

My mind panicked when I knew I would fall into Charles's hands. I felt like I fell into a bottomless abyss when I heard his words. Once again, I was left out.

"I cannot arbitrarily spend large amounts of money to buy something that is disposable, has no value, and does not bring me benefits. So I give up on this sale."

"No. Please do not leave! I understand that I am worthless to someone as wealthy as you, but how can you walk away so easily when you see someone in danger? You are the one with the stone heart."

Despite my earnest pleas, the man I had hoped for was still unknowingly turning his back on walking decisively. My vision blurred with tears; that man was about to leave. Do I really have no chance of getting rid of these perverts and disgusting people?
