The stern frown on Ruby’s face could melt an iceberg. The flight attendant managed to keep herself composed amidst the groans of the passengers. A fake smile plastered on her face as she moved back from the angry crowd.

“What do you mean our flight has been rescheduled?” An angry woman with a baby asked.

The chaos at the airport irritated Ruby even more. The angry woman’s baby won’t stop crying and a couple of toddlers kept shouting.

“I’m sorry but we are having some maintenance issues and the weather isn’t favorable either” the attendant explained

Ruby sighed as she dragged her luggage, she was too tired to argue with the attendant. She had received mail concerning the flight being delayed. She ignored it and hoped it was a joke.

The flight was scheduled for four o’clock and was rescheduled to six. By six, the attendant announced the flight would have to be rescheduled to 12am the next day.
