When the sunlight sneaked into the room through the wide curtains, Cassandra opened her eyes slowly to find Selena tightly snuggled against her. Her head rested on her shoulder, legs entangled with hers, arm across her waist and she was breathing rhythmically, sleeping soundly onto her.

Her heart throbbed. She was so beautiful. She brushed aside a strand of her blonde hair from her face, knowing what she had to do. After that night, it became clear to her. She fondly kissed her above her eyebrow, reveling in her embrace for long minutes before she quietly slid out of the sheets, taking care not to wake her up.
