Rose-
I sat and watched as Garrison’s little plan unfolded, gripping my table to keep from jumping from my seat and ripping Jeremy away from the lustful eyes in which he basked. Garrison had told me of this stupid plan earlier today and although I promised not to intervene, I also assured him that I would be keeping an eye on things to make sure nothing got out of hand. I had ordered him against it at first, but after he nearly groveled at my feet, going on about how in love he was with Isabelle, I eventually pitied him and gave in, with the condition that I would secretly supervise. Honestly, I only wanted to make sure that all hands were kept to themselves. After he told me that Jeremy would be taking another she-wolf out on a date, even a fake one, I had to fight to keep my
Jeremy- The bomb Rose had just dropped on me, had me shook. My father was gone. My best friend thought it was at my brother’s hands. Now he wants to plan to overthrow him and seize power. As much as I trusted Tyler and Rose, it was just so hard to take in. To believe. But why would Eric choose another as Pack Beta if Tyler was next in line? It didn’t make sense. I went to the dining hall to await Tyler’s arrival. Selda placed a bowl of meat soup she called, caldo de res, in front of me and I dug in.
Jeremy- I would have thought last night was a dream if I hadn’t woken up in Rose’s bed. She was gone, yet again, before I woke, but her scent still lingered and the warmth of the spot she had laid in remained. I rolled over it and inhaled deeply. One day, I would wake and she would be here in the morning still in my arms. Patience, I remind myself. I head back to my room to get dressed and then down to the dining hall, where I found Tyler helping himself to breakfast. I joined him and we went over the plan for today. “So, who were you going to get to help with the disguise?” he asks after we had gone over the details.
Rose- I probably had the best night of sleep in a very long time. I always seemed to sleep better when Jeremy was with me or had put me to sleep. I knew it was the mate bond working. He was, after all, the other half of my soul. When we were together, it was complete, whole again. Still, I couldn’t stop my stupid default mode, which was to runaway after we had gotten close, made progress. I woke up super early, feeling completely well rested. I was eager to train. I felt so good after that incredible bath and then a good night’s sleep.
Jeremy-Revolution? Was it really that bad? I feel a bit shocked as Roddy stares at me with all the confidence in the world. He was dead serious. “Revolution? Tell me what’s been going on. Everything. I want to know everything,” I say, taking the seat Roddy was gesturing to. At the front of the room, Roddy moves a beige floral curtain to the side, revealing a giant chalk board. “We’ve been gathering forces since your father’s death. We had formed a sor
Eric- Her sobs were becoming increasingly annoying. I finished up what I needed with her, flinging her down on the cot in disgust. I would need to tell the guards to bathe her, she was absolutely filthy. This was the only way I had gotten my wolf to cease his persistent whining for her. “P-please, Eric. Let me out,” she sobbed, trying to hide herself beneath her rags. I zipped up my pants and adjusted my clothing. I stepped out of the cell and closed the door with a loud ‘clang’. I fished for the key in my pocket and locked the cell. “Er- Alpha Eric, please.
Rose-I sat in my office waiting for Jeremy. It was about five minutes til 9:00am. I cleared everything from my desk and took a deep breath. I checked my face in a small mirror from one of the drawers in my desk. There was a knock at the door and I fumbled with the mirror, nearly dropping it as I shoved it back in my drawer and shut it. I stood and walked to the door, opening it to see a very delectable looking Jeremy standing on the other side. His rain forest scent swarmed my senses and I inhaled deeply letting it wash over me. “Good morning,” I said as I walked back to my desk, now feeling very calm and collected.
Jeremy- I did a few warm-ups as I waited for Rose to arrive in the training field. Gare had reserved one of the sparring rings for us and was now talking my head off as I waited for her to show up. “She finally said yes! She was reluctant at first, but then I took her to this real nice restaurant and I told her how I felt about her. I had this nice little set up when we got back to the room. Candles lit everywhere, rose petals all over. I had champagne chilling and I even got her favorite candy. I’m telling you man, right after she had that awful date with you, it’s like she opened up to me completely,” he chuckled as I shook my head, smirking at him.
Tyler-The argument between J and Rose earlier was crazy. I thought I was going to shit my pants with how much Alpha aura was rolling off of them. Goddess, if they were ever to mark each other, they would be a powerful couple. Jeremy may not realize, but he came back stronger than ever, stronger than Eric. That’s how I know he can beat him in a challenge. All the training and experience he gained from his time traveling, really helped to develop his strength and technique. His father would be proud. He always wanted J to be stronger than Eric. And he wanted to take the title now that E
