Flash back to Charlie's birthday

Emily woke up with a smile that fine Saturday morning. The source of her happiness was due to the fact that her boyfriend, Charlie would be celebrating his birthday that day and she was really excited for it.

She had everything planned out already, all she needed to do was put the final touches to the preparations and it was guaranteed to be a blast.

‘’Can’t wait to see the look on Charlie’s face.’’ Emily murmured.

Her afro hair was tousled as a result of the constant tossing and turning she did in the night, Emily hated to admit it but she had nightmares. On some days, she didn’t but on most days, it was terrible. On those bad days, she could barely sleep and found herself wide awake until dawn and for the rest of that day, she was usually in a foul mood.
