Chp 15 Pt. 4 Little Wolf

I see the light fading from her eyes as I get to my feet and take off running. I have no idea where I am or where I am going but I need to get away from here. I feel guilt hit me hard as I know the witch died saving me. She knew who I am and told me my parents have not stopped looking for me. I hope she is right and that they find me soon. I turn a corner and run into someone. I fall to the ground panicking as I back away from the person I ran into. I stop and recognize her as an elder from Derek’s pack.

“I know you. You are an elder from Derek’s pack. Is he here? Are you here to take me home?”

“Oh Malayah. We’ve been looking for you. I’m elder Carole. Come with me let’s get you out of here.” She takes me by the hand and I follow her. I can here Alastor barking out orders to find me. He is so angry.
