Chapter 60: Prologue

“So where are you planning your new branch at?”

“Don’t know. Somewhere near. Might be Edenton.”

“You and your obsession over your wife and her related things.”

Dexter huffed, causing a laugh to vibrate up from the depth of Noah’s throat.

“It’s not obsession, it’s my love for her. Once you get married to Jessica you will realise that.”

Dexter stilled on his chair, peeping towards the kitchen where girls were busy updating each other about latest happening in their life. Still he managed to catch Jessica’s attention who locked her eyes with the same intensity.

“I knew spark have taken the form of fire.”

“Noah stop it.”

Leo shush Noah, preventing him from further teasing Dexter.

Finally girls emerged out of the kitchen, and walked in direction of dinning area, where men were discussing topics capable of drifting one to sleep.

Sophia placed the self baked cake carefully on the table and sat by Noah, who passed her a smile, creasing her cheeks.
