As much as I had wanted to kiss him, I couldn't bring myself to do it. This much happened because he rejected me in the first place.

A part of me wanted to run back to him and squeeze him in my arms but the other wanted me to have a little ego.

"Okay let's just take a peek through the window to see if he actually left and you're just the one craving him… that's a normal thing to do right?" I asked my wolf but she chose to remain silent. "I'll take your silence as a yes."

I slid my curtains away from the window to take a peek, lying on the ground was Travis, seemingly unconscious.

I rushed outside to him and knelt next to him. "Travis!" I placed my hand on his cheek. "Travis! Please wake up!" I felt a streak of tear roll down my face and unto his nose.

"No! Somebody please help!" I scanned the silent street but there wasn't a single soul in sight.
