That fucker Daisy was going to marry has already left the pack.

It has been a week since she has been back to her normal work schedule, from eight to eight. She goes from here to her house or her sister’s house and one time she went out to dinner with two other women. Nothing out of the ordinary.

So, I should feel back to normal, focus on my work and my family. Or on the fact that my son is in better mental health than ever before, excited about his future with his mate and daughter.

I should be focused on them and feel happier than ever.

But I can’t, because Daisy is being weird.

She’s not being the same old Daisy, now she’s… different. Detached. Not just from me, but from the whole family. And it’s more evident with Millie, which bothers me a lot.

Daisy used to love holding Millie and breathing in her sweet baby scent whenever she could, but now she avoids Millie like she’s got the plague.

I don’t like that.

Plus, she doesn’t even bother making small talk with me anymore. Some
