Chapter ten

Bryson POV,

I lift my hand wrapping my hand around the back of my head, Ariadne in the wild only made my heart skip to beat, my mate, I would be hollow even if I was trying to deny it, seeing her every time gives me a fulfilment that I couldn't quite pace together, and now I am hot as a furnace, furious that some bastard would get to lay their filthy hands on her. I'm still trying to repulse myself.

As if I was on autopilot I picked up my phone and pressed the dialled number to ring Ariadne but, for some other reason, it irked me that I found myself running out every time I heard her name. Like some mad dog at the service of its master.

"Well, what are we other than creatures bound to protect our mate." My wolf said in concern. "We don't want anything to happen to her."

I trailed along with Aiden and Williams and once we were in the forest, I saw some rogues strolling the area. I tried to sniff Ariadne's scent William's gaze narrows on me but it was a mixture of several other scents,
