INICIAR SESIÓNCharlotte.
In the blink of an eye, a throng of spectators gathered around Iris and me, their anticipation palpable. The air crackled with excitement as they rallied behind Iris, their cheers echoing through the arena. Amongst the sea of faces, I caught a glimpse of Kali, her expression etched with anguish. But there was no time to dwell on her pain, for Iris charged towards me with an unstoppable force. Swift as a gust of wind, I effortlessly evaded her initial strike. Undeterred, she launched herself at me once more, her determination unwavering. Yet, I anticipated her every move, dancing away from her attacks with ease. However, my lack of offense seemed to irk her greatly.
Abruptly, she halted, her voice laced with frustration, "Are you toying with me?"
Though it may have seemed that way, my true intention was to shield her from harm. "Must we engage in this battle, Iris?" I questioned, yearning for a life of peace. Conflict was foreign to me, for I had always been the meek one.
With an unwavering gaze, Iris declared, "Yes, I must fight to safeguard my rightful place."
Without further explanation, she lunged at me once more, her intentions crystal clear. This time, I had no intention of evading her blow. Summoning every ounce of power within me, I unleashed a devastating punch that landed with such force that her lips split open, blood rushing out. The onlookers gasped in horror, their eyes fixed upon me. In that moment, regret washed over me like a tidal wave. I had not intended to strike with such brutality.
'Believe me, it was necessary for her to understand her position.'
That was Leah, my loyal wolf, speaking through my instincts. With unwavering certainty, I recognized her as the one responsible for that powerful blow. Instead of succumbing to defeat as I anticipated, Iris defiantly wiped the blood from her mouth and pressed forward. To my surprise, the crowd continued to roar in support of her. Even when I was in the lead, no one stood by my side. It stung, but I suppressed those emotions, locking them away, and focused on what truly mattered in that moment - the fight.
With lightning speed, she lunged towards me. I expected a punch, but she caught me off guard, extending her arms and conjuring a swirling ball of wind, hurling it in my direction. I was too slow to evade it, and it sent me crashing to the ground.
The crowd erupted in even louder cheers, and Iris stood tall, basking in her triumph. Rumors had circulated that she and Kali possessed extraordinary abilities, unlike anyone else. However, the details of their powers remained a mystery to me. Iris commanded the wind, while Kali held dominion over water. As Iris approached me, her proud smile radiating victory, a surge of something intense coursed through my veins. I couldn't quite pinpoint whether it was anger or something else entirely, but it threatened to unleash a tempest within me. Just as she conjured another ball of energy, poised to strike me once more, I felt an explosion of power erupt from my palm.
In the blink of an eye, the world transformed into chaos. One moment, I was grounded, and the next, Iris was engulfed in a burning flame. Panic erupted like a wild beast, as everyone scrambled to extinguish the flames that devoured her. Her agonized screams pierced the air, and despair settled upon us like a suffocating fog. Yet, every attempt to douse the flames proved futile, until Kali emerged from the shadows, her hands outstretched, conjuring a lump of water that crashed upon Iris' head. In an instant, the flames surrendered, vanishing into thin air. A sigh of relief escaped my lips, for I knew that fate could have taken a treacherous turn. Rising from the ground, I glanced upwards, only to find their gazes fixed upon me, brimming with malice. Deep within, I harbored no doubt that it was my doing, the catalyst for Iris' fiery torment. However, the how and why remained a baffling question. Had the flames erupted from my very palms? I could not say for certain, but to the onlookers, it appeared as though I had intentionally unleashed this havoc.
"I don't understand how it happened," I hurriedly defended myself, yet their expressions spoke volumes. With the exception of Kali, each person exuded a desire for my demise. The look etched upon Kali's countenance, however, proved inscrutable. I could not decipher her thoughts, for she did not seem to harbor hatred towards me, yet her allegiance remained uncertain.
One by one, the crowd dispersed, leaving me alone with Kali and Iris, who lay on the ground, gasping for breath. I approached her, sinking to one knee to meet her weary gaze. "I never intended to inflict such torment upon you. It occurred suddenly, without rhyme or reason. I am as clueless as you are." I anticipated her response to be a cutting remark, a dismissive scoff that would confirm her disbelief in me. But to my astonishment, Iris defied my expectations. For the first time since joining the pack, a genuine smile graced her lips, causing my heart to flutter with warmth. Yet, I maintained my composure, refusing to let my emotions betray me.
"I concede my defeat," she uttered in a tone so humble, it was foreign to my ears. "I apologize for doubting you and attempting to stir up trouble, Charlotte. Undoubtedly, you will become a formidable and wise queen."
Her sudden change of heart brought me joy, but it also left me unsettled. Just moments ago, she had harbored intentions of ending my life. What could have transpired to prompt such a drastic shift?
"You possess the power to manipulate fire, Charlotte," she revealed.
However, I struggled to believe her words and questioned, "Truly?"
"What do you think burned me? I witnessed flames erupting from your very palms, as did the others," she asserted.
This revelation left me dumbfounded. Although I had felt the scorching heat, I hadn't witnessed the fire escape my hands with my own eyes. Yet, Iris appeared resolute in her conviction, and even Kali, usually quick to challenge falsehoods, remained silent. If Iris were telling a lie, Kali would be the first to expose it.
"I believe you have yet to grasp the true extent of your power, perhaps you have only scratched the surface," she concluded.
Charlotte."Charlotte, did you just see that?" Kali asked me. I was still in disbelief after what I witnessed. "That guy was fast, almost as fast as...""Don't say it," replied Iris; she wasn't happy to see someone rival her speed. The pack member was bleeding out on the ground as the Hunter stabbed him again, but this time in the knee."Haaaaa! Stoppp!" He cried as the pain swirled around his body.Taking a good look at the sword now, it wasn't ordinary iron; it had a silver glow to it. I have never seen one quite like it."Get away from him!" Another member quickly shifted and attacked the stranger, pushing him backward. In wolf form, we are approximately twice the same height as we were in human form; we gained a straight boost as well as an increase in speed. I don't think any of the members there had magic, though; it was incredibly rare among us werewolves. The wolf charged at him again; the hunter then took out som
Charlotte.I finally felt like I was part of the pack. I could finally shift, befriended my inner wolf, tapped into my magic-manifesting as a mystical fire and I used that power to defeat Iris, the toughest girl in the pack. Kali was talking to me again as well. I don't think I've ever felt this happy since leaving the Blood Moon pack. I felt like nothing could go wrong. I passed by the village, greeting all the women, and finally stopped to say hello to our guardian squirrel. "Good morning today, Squirrel. I hope all is well," I said with a grin. The furry critter, however, was more focused on staring vaguely into the forest. "What is it, do you see some nuts over there or something?" I said jokingly, but the squirrel didn't even move an inch. I was beginning to get scared and decided to tell the queen immediately. The queen had the same worry on her face that I did. For the squirrel to act this way when it didn't even flinch when Nicholas attacked was something else.

Charlotte.Since our last encounter, Iris made a conscious effort to avoid crossing paths with me. While this should have brought me some relief, I couldn't shake the feeling that she was plotting something. It wasn't necessarily something bad, but it was disheartening to see her training tirelessly from morning till night, day after day. As the Queen had proclaimed, nobody dared to mess with me or speak to me in a disrespectful manner they used to. Even without the Queen's intervention, rumors were spreading like wildfire that I would be the one to succeed her. Surprisingly, Kali also started to keep her distance, and I couldn't help but wonder what went wrong. Even if everyone turned their backs on me, I had expected Kali to stand by my side. However, she seemed to be the first person to create a divide between us, and it pained me. Every attempt I made to talk to her failed. She had already built a wall between us, just like the others. She even began greeting me eve
Adonis. It’s been an eternity since Nicholas ventured into the ominous Forest with my bravest soldiers, and not a single whisper of news has reached my ears. It is not Nicholas himself that concerns me, but rather the fate of the men who accompanied him. These warriors are the cream of the crop, and if they were to vanish without a trace or suffer some terrible fate, I fear I would find myself in dire straits. My attention slowly shifted from the search for Charlotte to the desperate hunt for Nicholas. Each day, I found myself consumed by thoughts of what could have gone awry, concocting countless scenarios in my mind. Could it be that these female warriors were so formidable that they overpowered Nicholas himself? The notion seemed preposterous, for these men are the epitome of strength. Yet, why is there not a single whisper of their whereabouts? What calamity has befallen them? Where is Nicholas?"Don't fret, they will be alright," Kiana's voice broke th
Charlotte."In the midst of my demise, the squirrel's intrusion breathed new life into me, allowing me to forge ahead and create this pack. And now, I believe you, Charlotte, have been chosen for the very same reason - to carry on where I left off. I apologize for not recognizing it sooner and subjecting you to torment. But, if you don't mind, would you be willing to take on the mantle of the next queen?" she proposed. The intensity in her eyes assured me that this was no jest; her decision was resolute. Yet, everything was unfolding at an alarming pace. One moment, I was an omega, the next, the pack's chef. And now, I was being asked to ascend to the throne. My life felt like a wild whirlwind, akin to a reckless rollercoaster ride. If only I could disembark, even if just for a fleeting moment."That's quite the offer, but can I simply return to being the pack's chef? I've grown accustomed to this role, you know. Swiftly climbing the ranks isn't exactly what I h
