Aftermath

The Black family returned to the Imperial Hotel. The two princesses were still sleeping from exhaustion. Mia and Alfie went to get dinner downstairs while Oliver talked with Bentley and Thomas. 

"Be honest with me" Oliver stared at the boys "What happened today? I want the truth not the cover up you told Romeo and the others" Bentley and Thomas looked at each other. 

"Dad we need to tell you something" Bentley said as he started to recount what happened at the forest. He told his father of his encounter with Markus, Anna, and Dimitri. He told his father about Julia's healing ability, Olivia and the spiders, and Markus taking Dimitri as they escaped.

"Dimitri is the son of the Alpha of the pack?" Bentley asked as the name was familiar. Oliver nodded as he closed his eyes. He started to massage his temple as he felt a headache coming.

"When we get back to M city you boys are going to be grounded, no videogames and additional self defense classes." He sentenced them. The two boys could only nod in agreement as they accepted their punishment.

The next day at luncheon the five were eating at the hall. "You are so lucky Trevor that you didn't join us" Julia explained "We were scolded by Father for being irresponsible. When we return to M city we would be grounded." She added looking at her best friend. "Are you even listening to me?" She asked the boy. 

The pup to the dismay of his best friend was distracted as Trevor Colton was watching Olivia happily eating a cake. He was mesmerize by the little girl. "Little Olivia do you want some of my cake?" He asked handing his share to the little girl. He couldn't help but smile at her reaction. Olivia's eye lit up at looking at the cheesecake.

At the other side of the table the other boys were deep in conversation. "What did you tell your father?" Bentley asked Leonel in a serious voice. "Don't worry I didn't tell my father anything about your sisters and the Snow moon pack" he reassured his best friend. "The Falcasantos brother also assured me this morning that they didn't say anything" he added

"Big brother everything will be fine" Thomas told them. Bentley felt reassured hearing his brother's words. After that they changed the topic and continued to eat lunch. 

In the afternoon Mia took the children to the mall. She happily took them store to store to the children's dismay. 

"We need to buy Olivia's things" she explained as she took them to the department store. They went to the shoe section, the clothing section, and the children's favorite the toy store.

After the trip to the mall. Their time Lunar city continued without incident. They stayed in the capital for 3 additional days before going back to M city.

On there way home Olivia asked her father to stop by Granny Ada's cabin. When Olivia entered the cabin she wasn't surprise to see that it was empty. All of Granny Ada's things were missing except for 5 books and a letter.

 

After taking the items from the table. Olivia took the items and handed them to her father who was waiting outside. The two hand in hand went back to the car. 

Olivia glanced back at the cabin and closed her eyes. 'Goodbye Granny Ada Thank you' she whispered as she knew that she was returning home.
