Coming to confess

Bradley's POV

Seeing that my plan had once again failed, I couldn't get myself to stay back there, and staggered out of the pack, with the luggage I came with.

Kelvin was standing in front of their house when I got there, his two hands in his pocket, with his headphones plugged into his ears.

"Kelvin! Kelvin!" I called out to him, but when he didn't answer, I had to tap him.

"Why are you here? Are you done with the stuff? Is Alpha Leo now dead?" He bombarded me with one question after the other, his brows furrowed.

"Can't you at least hug and welcome me back home, before asking questions?" I probed.

"Keep dreaming. Tell me already, did you succeed?" He asked.

"Of course, I did. It's your turn to fulfil your part of the deal. Please like me back, Kelvin" I pleaded, tearing up.

"That won't work on me, Bradley, I must first confirm that Alpha Leo is dead" He replied, as I forced a tight smile, masking the anger that had started building inside of me.
