Elora’s POV

Everything tips sideways.

At first? Barely a blip. Just a twitch in my vision while I kneel down next to this kid, skinny knees, brown hair like mine, eyes massive and full of questions. She’s got the gift of talking. I’m fighting to keep the bandage straight, and she’s just talking nonstop like the pain meant nothing to her.

“Luna, do you have a puppy?” she says, toes wiggling, all wound up.

I try for a smile. “Not yet, kiddo.”

She’s practically vibrating. “You should get one! I’d come visit him, and you could name him something cool. Like Moonpaw!”

Her excitement was kind of contagious, but she’s starting to blur around the edges, and my hands shook. Wrapping a bandage shouldn’t be that hard. The air’s thick, too, all of a sudden.

My voice barely scrapes out. “Moonpaw’s perfect.”

Her face lights up, and she grabs my arm with a serious face. “Promise?”

I nod, even though my chest is aching. “Promise.”

Standing up? Bad move. The room does this weird carousel thing, little gold and black fireworks popping behind my eyes. I placed my palms to my forehead, took a deep breath, and tried not to pass out in front of the kids. It was not a great Luna look.

“Elora?” One of the healers calls from across the room, voice all gentle. “Sit down before you fall down, please.”

“I’m fine,” I say, not sounding convincing.

Right on cue, Dominic walks in. Guy’s like a storm rolling in, silent, but you can feel it. He clocks me, jaw tight, eyes doing that ‘I know you’re about to do something dumb’ thing. He’s seen this rodeo before.

“Elora,” he says, soft but firm, coming closer. “Time to take a break.”

“I’m fine.”

Dominic ignores me. He crouches down, helps the little one to her feet, his hand brushing mine, steady, warm. “Go on, sweetheart. Luna’ll catch up with you soon.”

She bounces off, totally oblivious to the fact that Luna is one bad breath from hitting the floor.

The room clears a bit. Dominic’s all business now. “You’re shaking.”

“I just skipped breakfast,” I mumble.

He gives me this look telling me he was not buying it. “When’d you last sleep for real?”

I look away. Busted.

The older healer, silver hair, eyes soft as rain, steps in. Her palm lands on my forehead and her mouth tightens. “You’re burning up, Luna. You’re running on fumes. If you don’t rest, you’re going down.”

Her words echo in my head, all fuzzy and slow. I don’t even bother arguing.

Dominic wraps an arm around me when I start to tip sideways. “Just for a few minutes. Please,” he says. And it’s that please... not a command, not a threat, just…gentle. My last bit of resistance fizzles out. I let him steer me out, head leaning on his shoulder like a total sap.

As we leave, I feel eyes boring into my back. Don’t need to look... Dante. His presence is static, all sharp edges and tangled feelings. I catch the flick of a shadow as we pass the corridor. I could feel his aura, possessive, restless, a low growl in a silent room.

Dominic doesn’t look at him, but I feel the tension radiate off him. For a second, I feel like being drawn by a magnet.

“Just breathe,” Dominic whispers. “Let it go. Just for now.”

I will try. Close my eyes. Not sure if I succeeded.

We make it to our chambers. Dominic places me on the bed, his hand lingering at my wrist a breath longer than necessary. “Rest,” he said.

I try for a laugh. “You sound like the healers.”

“I’m worse. I’ll actually stick around to make sure you do it,” he said, smirking.

It’s enough to drag a weak laugh out of me, even though every bone in my body ached. I didn't really know when I drifted off, just that Dominic’s there.

When I woke up, the place was quiet, but my head was pounding. The sun's coming into the room... late afternoon already.

I wish this headache would go away. And today of all days. Today was a council meeting. It was non-negotiable, obviously. Luna’s got to look steady, not like she’s about to faint. That’s the rule. No room for weakness.

I drag myself up, ignoring how my head banged. I run a hand through my hair, go through my closet and change into something presentable, and glance in the mirror. I looked like hell. Pale, haunted, eyes rimmed with shadows. Whatever. No time to dwell on it.

I have to move.

By the time I hit the council chamber, it’s packed. Dante’s up near the big table, talking with the elders. Dominic slouched against the wall, arms folded, scanning the room like he was hunting for trouble.

As soon as I stepped in, both of them stared at me. I feel it, like being caught in a spotlight.

Dante looks like he wants to wrap me in bubble wrap. “Elora, you shouldn’t...”

“I’m fine,” I shoot back, faking a grin. “Let’s just get on with it.”

Their eyes stick to me, burning holes right through me. Makes my skin itch. The elders are talking about something... border patrols, new moon, but it’s all just a low hum in my ears. My hands clamp onto the table so hard my knuckles go white. Heart’s hammering.

And then... bam

Everything just... drops out.

Sound gets sucked away.

The air's suddenly thick, suffocating. Faces smear together into a weird, glowing mess.

“Elora?” That’s Dante, but it sounds like he’s underwater. “Elora!”

I try to blink the fog away, but nope, vision’s tunneling. Chest locks up, room spinning like a bad carnival ride.

Dominic’s already moving, could recognize those heavy footsteps anywhere.

“Elora, stay with me!” Dante’s voice slices through, desperate.

The mouth won’t work. Knees give out. Not my most graceful moment.

Someone catches me… Dante, smells like pine and maybe something burnt. On the other hand, rougher, Dominic. They’re both freaking out, voices overlapping, kind of frantic and way too loud.

“Elora!”

“She’s burning up, get the healer!”

“Don’t you dare close your eyes, Elora!”

Doesn’t matter. Words are slipping away, melting into nothing.

All I catch before the world goes black is their faces, panic, regret, something that might be love, all twisting together. Way too much for me to hold.

Then I’m just... gone. Nothing but quiet.

  • Fated To One, In Love With The Alpha Twins   Chapter 139

Dominic’s POV I stared at Elora. She is the real Luna of this pack. She was always so ready to do things for the pack. She has gone through a lot for this pack. My mind rolled back to when we were little and she would always say things she would do for the promise she would become Luna. I always laughed, and to him, he rages and makes a great Luna. Although I never believed it then, I just said comfort to her. But look at her now... the only thing different here is that she is married to me instead of Dante. She loves Dante much more than she loves me, that I could tell, but the bond was stronger. I love her too, but my brother and I can possibly share her because of the love and the bond between the three of us. Elora would be our Luna, She would be both our wife, and Luna. This was the only thing I would do for my brother and her. I made my brother my Co Alpha so we can both be with Elora. The full moon climbed above us, old and bright, a silver coin tossed into midnight velv

  • Fated To One, In Love With The Alpha Twins   Chapter 138

Elora’s POVThey used to say peace came quietly. But honestly, it never crashed in like a battle or scorched like heartbreak. It just slipped in, soft as dawn, slow and gentle, so easy to miss until, one morning, you noticed the birds were singing again. The Crescent Moon was finally mending. The smoke stopped rising from the broken borders. Laughter started to echo where pain and crying used to fill the air, real laughter, the kind that wraps around you and promises things will get better. And me? I wasn’t sitting on a throne or standing next to any Alpha. I was right there in the middle of it all, with my people. Most mornings, I went to do my Luna duties. I help rebuild broken homes, paint houses, and make sure the children and adults are being treated well in the healer's chambers. I took care of nursing mothers and made sure there were enough supplies to last for the day. Nobody was left unattended. The young warriors still in training often trailed after me while I inspected the

  • Fated To One, In Love With The Alpha Twins   Chapter 137

Dante’s POVHaving Elora fully back was something that lifted a happy mood in me. Although I didn't like the fact that we both had to share her, and I am not sure how, there was nothing I could do. I only wanted her to live and that was enough for me. I didn't want to be greedy. When Dominic sank his fang into her neck, I felt something in me snap. It was like him touching something that was not his in the first place. But he is my brother and there was nothing I could do. He was the Alpha and Elora was his wife. Even if she were my mate, I couldn't possibly stop her husband from trying to save her life. After we were done reconnecting, I left for my room to freshen up and catch a little sleep that I've been missing for quite some days. I was sure Elora was fully recovered now and would not slip in and out of consciousness anymore. Immediately, my head hit the bed after my cold shower, and I drifted off to sleep. Tomorrow was going to be a long day, and I needed to be clear-headed

  • Fated To One, In Love With The Alpha Twins   Chapter 136

Elora’s POV I stared at the empty space within me with the moon goddess's voice echoing around me. She seemed to be humming a song. Everywhere felt so peaceful and I wished I could stay here for a little while. Back in the real world, I didn't want to take part in a lot of evil. I felt a sudden jerk and jumped."What is that?" I asked the moon goddess."You are being called back to life. It looks like your time with me has ended," She said, her voice soft."But I don't want to go just yet. At least not until everything is settled between the two brothers," I argued."Elora. This isn't about you. Your devotion to the pack is what has kept the brothers alive. If you don't go back to them, I'm afraid of the outcome," I shook my head violently. This isn't happening"Then at least tell me who I am going to choose," I pleaded."They are both yours..."Before I could make out what she had meant, I felt my body being pulled back as I tried to resist. When I opened my eyes, the air felt of

Dominic’s POVElora’s breathing was shallow. Each breath she took gave me a scare. It felt like forever, and my heart raced so hard. Her skin was really pale, and the mark Dante left was disappearing fast.“No,” Dante choked out, shaking her. “No, no, stay with me—Elora, please!”The healer’s hands trembled over her herbs and glowing bottles. She couldn’t pick one, couldn’t commit. Her voice cracked. “Her energy’s fading… her spirit’s slipping!” Her eyes darted to me, wide and scared. “If one bond won’t hold, let it pass through both. Bite her, Alpha.”I froze.Me? Bite her?I looked down. Elora’s lips parted, her face too still. I forced myself to breathe and met Dante’s eyes. He looked as if he would snap. “Don’t touch her,” he snapped. “She’s mine.”The healer’s voice cut through everything, sharp and furious. “You fool! If she dies, she’s no one’s!”Dante’s jaw clenched. That anger washed away, replaced by fear. His eyes flicked to mine. He swallowed, then nodded, slow and stiff

Elora’s POVMy chest squeezes up tight, first that low, annoying ache, then bam, it’s like a fist yanks the air right out of my lungs. I open my mouth to say I’m fine, but nope, the words just... melt. The room spins and goes all watercolor blurry.“Elora?” Dante’s voice, all echoey and weird, comes at me from somewhere underwater. Then the universe just flips sideways. The floor's gone. I’m weightless, but someone’s arms are strong; catch me before I faceplant. My head lolls back. I hear Dominic yelling for the healer, but his voice is just noise, buried under this ringing that’s taken over my brain.“Elora, look at me!” Dante’s voice cracks, desperate. He grabs for my wrist, checking for a pulse. I catch a glimpse of his eyes, those ridiculous golden eyes that always made me feel safe, they’re wide with panic now.“I can’t... she’s not...” the healer stammers, and honestly, that’s not what you want to hear right now.Everything dissolves into chaos. Hands everywhere, pressing cold c
