MAEVE’S POV

When Alpha Zane told me I was free to go back home, I was overwhelmed with happiness and after telling him I quit, I rushed to my room and packed my belongings.

In no time I was seated in my Ford Range Rover pickup truck with all my belongings safely in the truck before I drove off.

The pickup truck was old and getting rusty, but I wasn't ashamed of driving it around town because my Mom told me that my dad wanted me to have the car. I intended to work and save up some money to fix the car and make it look brand new.
