Bella's POVIt's been three days since Damien's change of mind towards me and honestly, it's been the best I've ever heard. Though it was kind of hard for the people, especially the maids to change their perspectives about me and give utmost respect just as Damien commanded. And it was also pretty hard for me to get used to this kind of life, having the maids right at my deck and doing things I could obviously do myself. It was sickening, I'd always wanted to scream at faces to leave me alone but I could understand they wouldn't even heed to my words, because of the fear that Damien might punish them for going against his words. My fingers slowly trailed up to my neck, pushing my hair to the side as I stood before the mirror and ran my fingers against the mark just between my shoulder and my neck. He finally marked me, was I expecting? No, not at all. I was happy he was finally accepting me to be his, but this is really out of it. I heaved out a deep sigh, leaning against the table.

Bella’s POV I stared up at the wall clock, heaving out a deep breath for the umpteenth time, it was getting late already and he was not back yet, could it be things went wrong? An hour later, I stood at the border of the pack I once lived in, leaning down on my knees, panting heavily. I stayed there for about five minutes, waiting to catch my breath before heading into the pack.
