"Oh that's unexpected." They tried to keep a smile on their faces, pretending not to be surprised by this.

"Yeah, we have to leave now. Have a nice day." Damien said and held my hand, gently pulling me back to the car with him. I rolled my eyes and folded my arms as soon as we were seated in the car.

"Hey." He called but I didn't even spare him a glance, looking away. "Hey, are you still mad at me?"

"How can I not be?" I snapped angrily, shaking my head, still annoyed. "Just start the car and drive back to the pack house."

He did not say a word again but ignited the engine, driving back to the pack house. The ride went in total silence and I stared outside the window, watching the streets of the pack. We arrived at the house a few minutes later and I tried to get out but the door wouldn't open. I leaned back on my chair realising he already locked the door and I was too deep in thought to know when he did.

"Hey, I'm sorry I might've sounded selfish. I really am." I jerked his hand
