Chapter Twelve

Lilith's POV

Things become harmonious and I start to feel as if I belong as the weeks flash by within the blink of an eye.

Some memories come back to me, little images here and there of the people I think are my parents.

It happens out of nowhere when I'm doing something that triggers a memory.

Like the other morning when I was flipping pancakes I completely zoned out remembering the person I think is my father doing exactly the same thing whilst I sat at a kitchen counter waiting for the pancakes he was cooking.

Or just yesterday when Calley was braiding my hair I remembered the woman I think is my mother doing the same in a bedroom that was decorated in pinks and purples and whites.

Things have also been going swimmingly between Theo and me.

We don't cross paths during the day much, he seems to be overly busy with protecting his pack and training his warriors. He even does boundary checks himself.

He's truly a big part of this pack and takes his role seriously.
