LOGINIsabella’s pov
I opened my eyes and I was well tucked in my bed in the clothes I wore last night with no memories of how I got home.
All my life I had always pictured myself as a heavy drinker but that’s wrong, I had my first drink yesterday and I blackout after one glass. So many questions popped into my mind but who could I possibly ask?
Ah, Connor. The chances of meeting him are so slim besides we agreed to stay as strangers. I am a married woman, I should not be messing around with another man even if my husband was fooling, I wouldn't use my body to get back at him.
‘What if you fall in love with someone else, would you leave your husband for him?’ My wolf asked.
‘Falling in love with another man after Zayn?’ Connor’s face falsed in my head. ‘Nahh, I must be out of my mind then.’
It was way past my breakfast time, I hopped out of my bed feeling better than I did yesterday. I thought the alcohol was going to give me a serious hangover, surprisingly I’m good.
I freshened up and made my way straight to the office so I could finish my work from yesterday. As I got into the main hallway, my ears were filled with loud moaning from Zayn’s room. His and his mistress must have it easy since they had me busting my ass building the pack’s wealth so my husband can have a lot of time for them.
My mood went from a 100 to a 0, what a way to ruin my morning. I hurried into the office, thankfully, I couldn’t hear them from there.
I revised a few of the paperwork the Beta had done in my place and focused on the one he couldn’t handle.
Zayn strode in freely like he had no worries in the world, his smile was big and hearty while I was sitting here rotting with heartache.
“Where did you go yesterday?” He demanded which made me laugh to myself.
“I didn’t know you’d have time to notice my absence. I see that your baby making mission only started this morning.” I mocked him. “You should work overtime to make very healthy pups for yours and keep your focus on that, not me.”
“Do not take your anger and jealousy out on me and Gina. I’m still your husband and your Alpha. Mind the way you speak to me.”
“It is not my fault you went about eavesdropping on me and Gina this morning. If you were in your place, you wouldn’t have been disturbed by us.
I scoffed, “Eavesdropping? I’d rather engage myself in watching forbidden movies than to do that.” His face fell into a frown and that satisfied me to an extent.
I just wished he channeled the energy he expended on getting me mad and attempting to break me, into the pack’s work.
“I want to have pups of my own, My Alpha.” I said out of nowhere.
Joan!
My wolf synced that up with my head, i know she is trying to prove a point, i better keep up with it.
“I’m sorry I would not be able to give them to you. Gina’s children with me do not need to go through sibling rivalry as I will not be able to love your pups at all.”
“Your response is just as I thought my Alpha. I don’t mind your inability to give me pups. I just want to let you know that I will be stepping out to seek a means of getting my own pups.”
He flared up, “you intend to cheat on me?”
Now, I’m the cheat.
“Do you intend on making me the laughing stock of the pack!”
“Laughing stock? You probably misunderstood my words, I am merely looking to make my own babies with another man. Is there a problem with that, my Alpha?”
“I forbid you from doing that. You dare not.”
“I’m afraid I will have to file a divorce, My Alpha. According to our pack’s guidelines, I’m allowed to divorce you.”
“But it’s not possible, the Alpha’s wife cannot divorce him.”
“That is if she is the Luna of the pack. Today, I am grateful that you have not given me that title. I will send a word to my father about the divorce and we shall start the proceedings.”
“The pack members will have better things to laugh about now.” I added, to rile him up.
Seeing him walk through the door and still try to play on my face made me resolve that I need to play as dirty as this man.
“8if you divorce me, who will handle of the pack’s businesses? Who? The Beta?”
“It is your duty, My Alpha. It has nothing to do with the beta.”
“Aren’tr your being selfish here? You are acting up all back. I do not wish to have a baby with you but you are not thinking about the members of the pack.”
“The members of the pack do not have a luna and they are aware of that, you have Gina, she can run the pack now, afterall she is a capable Alpha female,”
He ran his hand through his hair, “You may take a lover if you want, it is not that I even care. Act like the whore you are.”
Before I was given the response that came straight to my head, a knock came onto the door and the Bat walked in, “The Alpha of the Neon Moon Pack has arrived sir.”
Finale – Bella's POVThe very first rays of dawn painted the sky in magnificent shades of gold and pink as the heavy iron gates of the Neon Moon Pack opened wide.Vibrant flowers lined the smooth stone pathway leading up to the Alpha's private estate. Hundreds of wolves had gathered enthusiastically on both sides of the road, their faces beaming with joy. Young children ran through the grass, scattering colorful flower petals across the ground, while local musicians played soft, welcoming melodies. The sweet, comforting scent of fresh roses drifted gently through the morning air.I stopped walking for a moment, taking in the grand sight. "This is..." I looked around the courtyard in absolute amazement. "...it is absolutely beautiful, Connor."Connor smiled warmly beside me, his eyes never leaving my face. "It isn't nearly beautiful enough for you, Bella."I laughed softly, the sound light and free. "I think you are incredibly biased.""I definitely am," he admitted without a shred of
The bells of Silver Moon rang powerful and resonant before sunrise. Their deep, metallic echoes rolled across the frosty mountain peaks, calling every single member of the pack to the central square.I stood outside the stone steps of the Council Hall, watching an endless stream of wolves flood into the plaza. Warriors marched in polished ceremonial armor, their shields catching the early light. Local merchants closed their shop shutters, hanging bright fabrics out instead. Even the children ran through the cobblestone streets with wide, excited smiles. It felt remarkably like a grand festival, yet no one was celebrating a military victory today. They were gathering to witness the official beginning of a completely new era.Jeremy walked toward me from the inner chamber, shifting uncomfortably in the heavy, black ceremonial robes of an Acting Alpha. "I still don't think this day should be focused on me, Bella."I smiled gently, adjusting his collar. "It isn't."He laughed softly, the
Bella's POVThe grand Council Hall was quieter than it had been in weeks. The suffocating panic that had consumed the elders had finally settled into a cautious, fragile hope. Stacks of leather-bound ledgers covered the long oak table once again, but this time, they were meticulously categorized.Detailed trade maps hung across the stone walls, marked with ink to show active routes. Outside the heavy timber chamber doors, a crowd of independent pack merchants waited quietly, praying for any slimmest thread of good news.I stood at the head of the council table, reading through the latest financial projections. Some of the administrative problems were relatively minor, easily fixed with a few signatures. Others were total disasters waiting to happen. The core treasury reserves had dropped by nearly thirty percent over the last month alone. Three major merchant caravans had permanently canceled their contracts, and food imports from the neighboring eastern territories had been severely
Bella's POVThree weeks. That was exactly how long I had been living in the small, rustic guest estate my father owned on the quiet northern edge of the Silver Moon territory. For the first time in years, my mornings belonged entirely to me. There were no emergency financial meetings to rush into before breakfast, no endless, convoluted layout reports to check, no fixing massive administrative mistakes that weren't mine, and absolutely no pressure to smile through the pain and pretend everything was perfectly fine.I woke naturally with the sunrise, watered the vibrant hydrangeas blooming in the garden, and shared quiet, uninterrupted breakfasts with my father before dedicating a few calm hours to organizing his merchant accounts. It was incredibly peaceful a deep, settling peace I had honestly forgotten could exist in this world."You smiled again today, sweetheart." My father looked up from his morning tea, a knowing, affectionate grin lighting up his weathered face.I blinked, touc
Bella's POVThe entire Silver Moon Pack gathered in the central town square. No one had been told exactly why only that Alpha Zayn had called an urgent, mandatory public assembly for every member of the territory.Warriors stood in perfect, silent formation along the outer perimeter. Merchants whispered anxiously among themselves near the stone fountains, and families filled every single available space on the cobblestones. Even several neighboring Alphas and their entourages had remained after Gina's sentencing, thoroughly curious about what would happen next to the leadership of our pack.Jeremy approached me quietly near the courthouse edge. "You don't have to attend this, Bella. You can go back to the manor."I looked toward the massive, crowded square, watching the sea of faces. "No. I think I should be here."Connor, standing nearby with his arms folded against the morning breeze, overheard our conversation. "If he says anything that makes you the slightest bit uncomfortable..."
Bella's POVThe stone courthouse steps were completely crowded long before sunrise. Word of the final tribunal had spread like wildfire across every neighboring pack, drawing immense crowds to the capital. Today was the day Gina Hale and her inner circle would be formally sentenced for their crimes.Warriors lined the massive arched entrance to maintain order, their arms crossed. Merchants whispered anxiously among themselves on the cobblestones, and even high-ranking wolves from other regional territories had traveled across borders just to witness the historic trial. They hadn't come because Gina was famous; they had come because her systemic financial crimes and illegal shipments had directly affected and exploited countless regular families.I stood quietly near the heavy wooden doors, adjusting my coat against the morning chill. Jeremy stood right beside me, a steady, protective presence. Connor arrived a few moments later, walking up the steps alongside his Beta, Henry. When ou

Zayn did not look surprised by this news, that means he was the one that invited that ruthless Alpha here. That only worsened my anger.“Prepare a car that would take us to the pack house at once” he ordered his beta. “You might get a change of clothes.“Why did you bring that rabid dog here?” I d
Connor’s povOf all my thirty two years on earth, this is the first time I was able to read someone outside my pack’s mind without initiating it.‘She is different.’ My wolf commented. I know that and I can also see that.I have been to this pack so many times, and I have never seen anyone that lo
