The meeting ended and we returned to our hotel.

“What was that back there?” Henry demanded. I ignored him but I knew he would not let it go. “Did you sleep with her when you were out yesterday?”

“Jesus Christ, Henry, where did that come from?”

“I mean, it is you. You never take women seriously but you always bed a hot one. I never knew you were brazen enough to sleep with an Alpha’s wife. This could cause us this whole deal if the Alpha finds out. Now I see where the bad feeling you had this morning came from."
