ANGEL

Rose was the most precious little one. Goddess, she was so damn adorable.

I felt for Anthony and Rose. Their situation was unique and one that I could appreciate. He took her in as his own, giving her the love and support that she needed. As someone who was adopted, I could say with certainty that blood did not make family, but the heart did. People often said that you could not choose your family, but you could. I could not choose whether or not I shared Josef’s DNA, but I did choose to not claim him as kin. In the same way, the Vesters were my family.

It was funny how fate worked out. The Gods certainly knew their way around the gameboard, arranging people so that everything worked out like it should. Anthony had Rose and was worried that a mate would not accept her and him together. Similarly, Sasha had her son and felt the same way. They were exactly what the other one needed. I had a great feeling about them.

We took Anthony and Rose to their suite so that their luggage
