Asher’s Pov

She lifted her hips as I pulled them down, along with her undergarment, into a pile at her feet. After removing her tights, I helped her step out of them and led her to the back.

The second room in the workshop was my main. The exposed brick walls were plastered full of paintings. Full of sets, chairs, blankets, I had all the equipment necessary for a pose.

Light boxes were set up, and the scene was simply white with a black stool. The paper was already positioned on an adjacent table.

"You ready, darling?"

"Y-yes," she stuttered, nervously looking down at her feet. She felt so exposed and raw.

I lifted her chin., placing the softest of kisses on her forehead. "This painting is for us. Aiden, Adrian, Asher, me and you. No one else, okay?

She nodded. "Alright."

"Here," I wrapped a silk robe around her shoulders. "Get comfortable. Sit on the stool while I check the lighting."

In no time, I set up the lighting and turned on some music. I also removed my shirt. I stood there i

Grace’s PovThe wooden box shattered at my feet, splinters flying as my scream ripped through the trees. Birds scattered. Even the rogues…creatures who lived on blood and chaos took an instinctive step back.“No!”My voice echoed, raw and sharp, cutting through the fog. My hands were shaking, claws half-extended, fury crawling under my skin like something alive.“It was supposed to work out,” I snarled. “She was supposed to be dead by now.”No one answered at first. They never did when I was like this.I turned slowly, letting my gaze rake over them… all suddenly very aware that they were standing between me and my disappointment.“You’re telling me,” I continued, voice dangerously calm now, “that she never came here?”The tall one…their leader, shifted his weight. He had the audacity to meet my eyes.“If she was brought to this clearing,” he said carefully, “her body would be laying lifeless right now.”My jaw clenched so hard it ached.“Then why isn’t it?” I shrieked, spinning on hi

  • Fated to the Alphas   Chapter 47

Aria’s POVThe moment my undergarments hit the floor, reality crashed into me.I felt exposed in a way that had nothing to do with nudity. When he guided me into the second room…his real workspace…the white backdrop, the lights, the stool.. It all felt deliberate. Intentional“You ready, darling?”“Y-yes.”My voice barely worked. He kissed my forehead…soft, grounding. “This painting is for us. No one else.”That should’ve terrified me.Instead, it made my chest ache. When he wrapped the silk robe around me, it felt like a promise instead of a shield. I sat as instructed, my hands trembling slightly as he adjusted the lighting. At some point, he removed his shirt.I noticed. God, did I notice. The lines of him…strong, sure, unapologetic..made heat pool low in my belly. When he caught me looking and smirked, I didn’t even deny it.“I do,” I said, surprised by my own boldness. When the robe slipped from my shoulders, the air felt colder but his gaze was warm. Consuming. Not hungry, more

Aria’s povI didn’t realize it had happened until he was already looking at me differently.Something inside me had shifted…quietly, subtly. My shoulders didn’t ache the way they used to. My breath didn’t hitch at every sudden sound. I was humming as I folded linens, not because I was trying to fill the silence, but because the silence didn’t scare me anymore. That scared me.Peace felt… fragile. Like glass held too close to the edge of a table.I felt him before I heard him.“Asher.”The way he said my name made me look up too fast, my heart jumping before my mind caught up. His gaze wasn’t playful. It wasn’t teasing like it used to be. It was sharp…observant. Like he was checking everything I didn’t know I was showing.Up close, I suddenly felt exposed. Not in my body… yet but in something deeper. Like he could see the parts of me that were finally unclenching.“You’re busy,” he said, already taking the basket from my hands.“I didn’t say that,” I replied, frowning.“I know,” he sai

  • Fated to the Alphas   Chapter 44

Asher’s PovI noticed it before she did.The way her shoulders sat looser. The way her scent had shifted….warm, steadier, mixed faintly with Axel’s calm and Aiden’s heat. She was opening. And she didn’t even realize what she was still keeping locked away.I watched her from across the yard as she folded linens, humming softly to herself. Peace looked almost dangerous on her. Like something that could be taken from her too easily.Axel had soothed her.Aiden had stirred her.But neither of them had tested her.Mother's voice echoed faintly in my head from earlier….something about patrol routes, supervision, order. I barely listened. I already knew what I was going to do.I crossed the yard before I could overthink it.“Aria,” I said. She looked up, startled. “Asher?”Up close, the change was even clearer. Her eyes didn’t dart anymore. She wasn’t bracing for impact. She trusted the ground beneath her feet. That trust made something dark and protective coil in my chest.“You’re busy,” I

  • Fated to the Alphas   Chapter 43

Grace’s POVThe territory had grown too quiet.I noticed it the way one notices rot…slowly, then all at once.Aria’s laughter carried farther now. Softer. Warmer. It went through the halls like something alive, something settling in places it didn’t belong. Axel’s presence clung to her like a second skin. Aiden’s scent lingered longer than it should have.Bonded. Strengthening. My fingers tightened around the cup in my hand.Too fast.I watched from the balcony as Aria crossed the courtyard below, sunlight in her hair, posture lighter than it had been days ago. Not broken. Not afraid. That wouldn’t do.“She’s being pampered,” I murmured to myself.Pampered became protected.Protected became untouchable. And I did not tolerate things I couldn’t touch.I turned sharply and summoned the guards.“Patrol schedules,” I said smoothly when they arrived. “I want them adjusted.”One guard hesitated. “Adjusted how, my lady?”“Expanded perimeter,” I replied. “The eastern woods have gone unwatche
