“Ahhn…”The soft moan left Elias’s lips as Jace licked and sucked on his nipple.Jace froze, realizing that Elias was awake. His lips were still against Elias’s skin. His hand still resting lightly on the Alpha’s chest. His mind was screaming WHAT DID I JUST DO?!Elias’s fingers tangled in Jace’s hair, holding him close. “Please… don’t stop,” Elias whispered, with a smile curling on his lips. “You feel...so good, Jace."He sniffed jace from his hair. "You smell so good."Badum! Badum! BADUM!Jace’s heart beat started beating again like it was trying to run out of his chest. He actually enjoyed being with Elias, touching Elias and being touched by him.Elias gently slid his hand down Jace’s back... pausing at his waist, making Jace gasp, arching his back."Continue...suck on me." Elias pulled Jace in tighter, and Jace gave in, doing a
Chapter 22 – “A Touch Too Far”“Mmmmhmm…” Jace moaned into the kiss, his body melting for just one forbidden moment. His lips pressed to Elias’s, craving the warmth and the soft, sleeping silence that didn’t snap or bite.Elias didn’t respond. He didn’t kiss back, because he was still unconscious. After a while of enjoying Elias's lips, Jace’s eyes flew open. He froze like someone had dumped a bucket of ice over his head. His lips broke away from Elias’s.Pop.He pulled back so fast, he nearly fell off the bed. “Oh no. No no no...” Jace whispered, breath coming fast. “What the hell did I just do?!”"I'm straight...I shouldn't be kissing a guy or feel good about it either."His heart was pounding lou and his chest moved up and down fast. He clutched his chest like he could smother it. “Stupid, stupid,” he muttered. “Why did I… why did I kiss him?”He backed up to the wall, hands trembling. His face burned red, and guilt twisted in his gut like a knot made of hot wire. But Elias didn’t s
Chapter 21 – "The Moment That Shouldn’t Have Happened"“Elias!” Jace cried, panic rising like a wave in his chest. The Alpha had collapsed, unconscious, bleeding, and heavy...Too heavy that when Elias fell against him, it knocked Jace down completely, his back hitting the cold kitchen floor with a thud, and Elias's weight draping over him like armor... or chains.“Get off...no...wait… oh stars, what do I do?!”Badum! Badum!Jace’s heartbeat roared in his ears like a bass drum. Elias's head was tucked in the crook of his neck, lips just shy of touching his collarbone, his breath warm and soft near Jace's skin. After about five minutes...Creak…The door opened slowly.Someone gasped at what he saw. “Oh! I...oh my moon..” It was the butler, Sir Iverton. He covered his eyes with one gloved hand. “Forgive me...I didn’t know you two were… um… bonding.”“It’s not what it looks like!” Jace yelped, scrambling to sit up but couldn't move. “He just fainted!”Iverton lowered his hand, blinking twi
“What the hell are you doing here?” Elias’s voice came through the kitchen, very loudly, it made other servants tremble. Jace froze, holding a tray with teacups that trembled in his hands. The kitchen smelled of herbs and roasted meat, but all he could smell now... was just him.Elias stood by the doorway, tall and terrifying, his blind eyes staring at his direction almost like he could see him. He looked straight ahead, but his senses were honed like a hunter’s, he didn’t need sight to find the one person who made his blood burn.Jace swallowed, stepping back by a step. “I… I’m working here.”“In my parents house?” Elias snapped, stepping forward. “After you what you said, you have to nerve to come here to serve...You should have one crawling to your so called mate." Jace’s fingers tightened around the tray. “I didn’t come here because of you.”“Oh?” Elias's head tilted slightly. “Then why? To play servant in the house of the parents of the person that cast you out?”"No...sir."
Chapter 19"How dare you refuse me?" the female alpha roared, with an annoyed face.Jace trembled, stepping back until his shoulders hit the wall of the abandoned cottage. Her fury seemed to suck the air from the room. She pointed a finger at him, raising her voice. "You have until the Mate Run to change your mind. I don’t take no as an answer, especially not from a Null...not from you."He didn’t respond. What could he say? He watched, frozen, as she turned sharply, stormed out of the place angrily and then she was gone. The wind howled as the door slammed shut behind her.Jace collapsed onto the floor again, gasping like he had just outrun a beast. His hands trembled and his skin was cold. She had power, yes. She was beautiful. But she didn’t stir anything in him not like Elias did. This made him even more angry with himself. Not like those whispered touches and warm hands had done, the way Elias's voice lingered in his memories.Outside, the Alpha of the Eastern Hills walked with pr
"No!" Jace screamed, his heart was pounding against his chest. The wolf lunged, breath hot as it pinned him down to the cold, dusty floor. His hands scrambled for anything...a stick, a rock, something...but there was nothing. He curled up himself and closed his eyes waiting for the attack but didn't feel a thing. The wolf... just stared at him with it's gold eyes. The low growl in its throat faded, replaced by a sound that was almost... a purr?Jace opened one eye to check, then the second and then saw the wolf changing. It's fur turned to flesh...the claws became delicate fingers. And finally a woman's figure took form above him, curvy and bare.Jace's gasped because she was stunning and he was too shy to look so he threw his eyes another direction. She had long black curls spilled over her shoulders, cupping her small face. Her skin was smooth and glowing like she was a queen. And her full pink lips curled into a mischievous smirk. "Oh my, Look what we found!"She sat on top of hi
