"Come out while I ask nicely.". Elias spoke to thin air. He started going closer, towards the presence.

"Who are you talking to?" Gavin asked, standing behind Elias, confused.

Elias turned, but didn't answer. He returned his attention again but the presence was gone. "It seems you have a talent of distracting people." Elias said to Gavin.

"What did I do this time?"

"I felt a presence, I was sure of it but then you distracted me." Elias turned, walking past Gavin. "I'm going to rest."

"Okay! And uhm, Elias...I don't want you to get hurt by trying what you want with Jace. You know it's not allowed."

"Thanks Gavin. But I can take care of myself." Elias responded. "I'll be attending the warrior training tomorrow, let the warriors know."

"But it's late? " Gavin gasped.

"Oh well, I guess they will find out when they see me." Elias smirked then went up to his room.

He lay in his bed, frustrated. For days he was restless and could barely sleep. His wolf kept whispering in the back of his mind.

Ours!

Elias put one hand over his forehead, staring at the ceiling. After a while, he turned his head to the side and smelled the faint trace of Jace still left in the room.

Early the next morning, Elias didn’t ask for or wait for Jace. He got up and went to the training grounds. The warriors trembled as Elias landed. He was blind but didn't behave like he was blind. Everyone was shirtless during training. His body was built up for someone with such a handsome and delicate face.

He did have men who crushed on him among his warriors but he gave them no attention. He trained harder than usual, sparred with ten warriors at once. and didn’t hold back. He needed to let out his frustration. The ground cracked under his feet as he held them off. After the training with Elias, the warriors always had major injuries. None was yet to defeat Elias. "You call yourself warriors, yet ten of you can't land a scratch..." Elias said angrily. "This is why I leave the training to Gavin."

Elias dripping with sweat, and some blood stains on his hands turned and left the training grounds. "Most would fall to their knees if I ever showed interest in them and yet, the little wolf I want the most, is avoiding me..." Elias stopped at a tree, hitting it once. " Pushing me away" He hit the tree the second time. "Calling me SIR!"....As he hit the third time, the tree came falling down.

He walked into the mansion shirtless, sweat glistening over his skin. When he walked back to the estate, Jace happened to be in the hallway carrying folded sheets.

They both froze and staring at each other. Elias tilted his head slightly. “Didn’t expect to see you this early, Little Wolf.”

“I...I was just working, sir,” Jace said, eyes dropping instantly to the floor.

Elias stepped closer. “Still calling me that.”

Jace stepped back. “It’s respectful.”

“It’s distance.”

“I need that.”

“Liar.”

Elias’s voice was calm but it made Jace’s blood pump faster. Especially seeing him like this bare skin, damp hair, sweaty, lips parted just slightly from exertion.

“You’re not scared of me,” Elias said. “You’re scared of yourself.”

“I’m not... like that,” Jace muttered. “I’ve always wanted a simple mate. A girl like me. Someone who...”

Elias cut him off by stepping in, close enough that their shadows merged on the wall.

“What if she never exists?” Elias asked. “What if what you’re looking for is standing right here?”

Jace dropped the sheets. They hit the floor with a soft thump. He quickly  turned his back. “Please, don’t talk like that.”

“Then don’t stare at me like that.”

Jace’s hands folded, his heartbeat as always gave him away.

Elias didn’t touch him but his presence was a touch all on its own. After a while he left to his chambers.

That night, Jace couldn’t rest. He paced his room like something was chasing him. Trying push ups, jumping and everything he could think of.

“Why do I feel like this?” he whispered to himself. “Why can’t I just be normal?”

He remembered what a few servants had said days ago;  about a club in the lower district.

“A place to let off steam,” they’d said. “To dance. To flirt. No rules. No names.”

Maybe that would fix it. Maybe being around pretty women would remind him of who he was.

So he dressed quietly, slipped out through the side entrance and walked into the night. Elias noticed, Jace's scent leaving the mansion. "Where is my little wolf going out to by this time of the night?"

No," the Northern daughter corrected, eyes roaming him from hair to boots. "He’s… alluring... Look at those grey lashes, the silky looking hair and those lips." ‎ ‎ ‎"Alpha! Your father said you should...." ‎ ‎The butler's voice interrupted their intimacy time. Elias and Jace both turned in slow, synchronized horror. ‎ ‎There, at the bathroom door, stood the butler with a tray in hand, and his expression was wide-eyed and frozen. His gaze landed on Elias in the bath, naked, soaked, flushed… and Jace on top of him, lip-swollen, breathless, and water clinging to his skin. Then Elias holding tight to Jace's arched back. ‎ ‎"OH MY!" the butler gasped, his monocle nearly falling from his eye. ‎ ‎Jace yelped and tried to leap off Elias, slipping again and nearly taking them both underwater. ‎ ‎Elias caught him with a grunt. "Seriously? Again?" ‎ ‎"I’m so sorry! I didn't see anything! Carry on! Carry on!" the butler sputtered, backing up so fast he nearly tripped over his own shoes. ‎"I need you to suck my nipples, Little Wolf."‎‎The words dropped into the steamy air shocking Jace. He froze as his heart skipped, then raced, then turned into a thousand fluttering birds trapped in his chest. Did he really just say that?‎‎Elias wasn't sure if what happened was real or not but he wanted to play the psychological card to find out. Elias’s breath brushed against Jace's ear, hot and shaky.‎‎"You heard me," Elias whispered, his voice almost a growl. "I know you did already."‎‎Jace pulled back slightly, eyes wide and trembling. "Y-you remembered?"‎‎So he wasn't just dreaming. Jace actually sucked on his nipples. He thought. ‎‎Elias didn’t answer at first. But his hands tightened around Jace’s waist. ‎‎He wanted to get mad at Jace but he thought about it, does that mean Jace is finally giving up to him and he could finally have Jace for himself?‎ ‎"I thought it was a dream," Elias admitted, lips grazing the side of Jace's jaw. "You licking me... sucking me.

  • Fated to the Blind Alpha   Chapter 26: It's Getting Hot

Jace's lips were soft. Elias felt it first as shock, then as a blaze that lit his every nerve on fire.Neither of them moved at first, frozen in the kiss. Steam wrapped around them like a cloak, as if the room itself was holding its breath.Jace's eyes fluttered open wide, and Elias blinked slowly, their mouths still gently pressed."Mmmph!"Jace froze, his eyes wide, his hands clutching Elias’s shoulders desperately. But Jace suddenly pulled back a mere inch, stammering. "I-I'm sorry! I slipped..I didn’t mean to...I wasn’t..."But Elias’s hand moved, cupping the side of Jace's wet face."Shut up," Elias whispered. "Just... shut up."

"Jace?"Elias's voice echoed off the steamy walls, it was cold and sent shivers down his spine. Jace stood frozen like a deer caught in torchlight, clutching the basket of towels like it could protect him. But he didn't respond."Jace?" Elias increased his tone. "Are you the one?" "Uh...uhm...Yes...sir." Jace responded. But he wasn't happy that Elias kept calling him Jace instead of little wolf."W-why are you here?" Elias asked, brow furrowing. Then he leaned back trying not to look flustered by Jace's presence. He said he is straight and has a mate but he just walks in on me naked in the bathroom. Elias thought, various thoughts going through his mind. "I-I didn’t mean to… I mean, the butler told me to bring..."Elias sat up in the tub, water shifting around his broad chest. "The butler told you? Really? And you just listened?"Jace swallowed. His heart pounded so loud, Elias could probably hear it without his enhanced senses."He said... he was busy with the candidates," Jace mut
