Anguish, he felt nothing but misery, his heart clamping badly beneath his chest as he held the icy body tighter, closely.
A precarious sob left his lips, as his sniveling gaze averted to the person in his arms, and once again, everything around him ceased, the violent, cold wind that brushed through his hair and slapped his cheeks suddenly stopped, the damp moss whiff of the forest didn't seem to reach his nostrils anymore while the rumbling sound of thunder quietened, the pattering of rainfall continued to beat on his back, soaking both of them but that didn't matter as his gaze remained glued to the man's motionless face.
Slowly, his left hand went up to cup the man's hardened jaw and touched nothing but frost, ice, cold, and almost instantly, his breath got caught in his throat, the knot in his stomach seeming to be tightening with every passing second while his wet form trembled, his tears meaningless as the rain washed them away.
How could he be so stupid?!
He could have just let him die in that cave, he shouldn't have gone looking for him in the first place knowing he had nothing to save him, knowing he would only trigger his doom, he should have just left him alone, he wouldn't have gone through all these stress of killing him with his bare hands.
A shaky laugh nearly left his lips as he continued to stare at the unmoving form. What was the point of regretting anything, he was gone and everything was his fault!
Now, he had to bear the swelling, the throbbing sensation in his chest, that burning sentiment that made his heart feel like combusting, that pinching pain that made him feel that his heart was being sewed together with a needle. Agony, affliction, discomfort, sorrow, grief, there had never been a day did it ever cross his mind that he would one day feel these awful emotions, they were smothering and already, he already felt like he won't outlive them for a second.
His hand remained on the man's face. His body and lips quiver uncontrollably. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry!" He came out like a broken record, his voice rough. "If I had known it would hurt this much, I wouldn't have gone looking for you again, I should have moved on but you made me an addict of you, you took my heart along with you. You are so terrible. You swore, how could you break all your promises and sting me like this!!" He screamed at the man's face, the tears being scrubbed away by the waters that trickled and drenched his face from his head but what about his suffering, why couldn't the rain wash those feelings away as well? "I hate you so much, I gave you my heart and you broke it into a million pieces, how dare you!!" Again, he yelled but his words fell on deaf ears as the man showed to sign of life in him, his face going paler and whiter by the second, his once ruddy lips were now a withering purple.
Slowly, he tapped the man's cheeks repeatedly. "Open your eyes. I promise I won't be a brat anymore, I will let you do what you want with my body, I will be submissive, I will do anything as long as you wake and tell me you love me one more time!!" He pleaded, staring hopefully, waiting, and once again, he felt his heart and hope shattering.
Suddenly, he screeched, burying his face on the man's chest, wailing. "I WILL NEVER FORGIVE YOU!!"
He sat there in the rain, being enclosed by nothing but hedges and the smell of nature, and suddenly, his vision reversed, his setting changed and he found himself back in time where everything began, and slowly, he let himself sink in those memories, never wanting to leave.
To be continued...!
"The virus is leaking quicker than we foresaw. It's been only a month since we got the information and it's already taken all of Veus, it's now heading in our direction. This nuisance has eradicated packs. What should we do Alpha?"The addresser finally lifted his head to the addressee but found the young Alpha gawking into space. The addresser nearly growled in vexation but held it back, he didn't want to seem defiant to his leader. He cleared his throat but obtained nothing. He gaped when the Alpha remained sturdy in that position on his chair, fingers to his chin, deep in thoughts.Taking the chance, he cleared his throat a bit louder and that brought back the young Alpha out from his trance but earned a glare from those sharp amber eyes from his hard work."I've heard all that you said, Peter, am not deaf!" The Alpha snapped at the man named Peter..Peter took a deep breath, using everything in him to hol
With his hands held behind him, Alpha Jett strolled through his pack, passing houses after houses. He could only smile and feel his heart swell in dignity as he saw how optimistic his people were. His eyes meandered the children, trotting around, playing tags, they were joyous, everyone was cheerful, what could go wrong? He might be youthful but he sanctioned his pack well and every one of his packs members gave him the reverence as the Alpha. It wasn't easy after his father died from a rogue raid but he had managed to pull it. He was eighteen then and now, he was twenty-five, six years since then but it still felt like it was just yesterday when everything fell on his shoulders. Suddenly, his gaze landed on a couple heading towards his direction, hands interlocked together, chuckles and giggles leaving their lips. Instantly, his smile dropped. Most wolves found their mates as soon as they shift which was at the age of sixteen, it had been nine years
"Aahh!" he cried out as another whip went across his back. His body arched from the intense pain before his head dropped drastically and just before he could recover, another lash crossed his back, followed by laugher of travesty in the background, chattering of men, turning his name into a jest of laughter, glasses of beer clanging together, every sound was like a vague melody to his sensitive ears, he could barely the pain from the whip anymore, not when his mind was occupied. No, he didn't shed a tear, not even a drop was wasted, he was an Alpha, he still had his pride in a fan, he refuse to show weakness to these worthless pieces of shit but then, reality seemed to had struck him again when another stroke cross his back.He didn't know what time it was or how many days had passed since he was surrounded by a dim sight, barely with no source of light, bound to two pillars, legs and hands cuffed with silver, iron chains, his shirt torn into shreds, his
"I-I don't t-think I can make it!" he squirmed violently, snuggling his fragile body with his hands from where he remained lying in the cold, rusty cell, leaking with dirty drops of liquid, peeks of light trying to come in. His eyes shut but he felt a gentle tap on his cheeks and his eyes instantly snapped opened, only to be staring at a pair of blank grey eyes. "Hey, you need to stay awake"He couldn't help but laugh at the words. It was pointless staying awake, everything was gone. What did he leave to fight for, even their Alpha was nowhere to be seen. Three days since they had been locked in this cell, slowly shirking what daylight looked like while the rest of the pack was nowhere to be seen. It was doomed for them and there was no getaway from it.Again he shivered, his heart going rapid beneath his chest. His green eyes went over to the side of the cell where the remaining survivals of the battle remained sitting, probably losin
"So, have you decided, love?" the hassling voice of Xavier catechized, staring at a hazardous Jett over.Sluggishly, Jett lifted his head, he snarled at the Alpha, standing superciliously before him once again hands held behind, looking sexier than ever. Jett didn't look away as he continued to gawked into the caliginous flaxen eyes of his mate. Why were his eyes gold? He had never seen anything like them before. And behind that gold, there was nothing else but vacuity and a bit of mischievousness, deception. Other than that, Jett couldn't distinguish anything else from the man's eyes. Finally, he looked away to the floor, the silver chains were the only thing deterring him from plunging as he was sure he has relinquished every bit of resilience he had in his body."How's Ace, everyone?"Alpha Xavier tilted his head, a smirk on his lips. "Everyone but the Gamma is dead, he will join
"What's going on?"Riyan watched as the outrageous guards encrusted at the voice. His hands unclenched when they let go of his mate that plunged to the ground, coating his face shamefully while crawling to the corner, hugging his knees."Co-mmander?" they sputtered, their eyes expanding. Riyan couldn't help but peered in befuddlement till a man originated from the dark, Riyan instantly recognized him as one of the men that followed Alpha Xavier the other day.The commander's dark purple eyes shifted from the guard to the Omega weeping at the corner before his attention went back to the brutal guard. Before anyone could blink, the commander had his fingers tightly around the guard's neck and lifted him off his feet handily. "Co-m-ma-nder!" almost instantly, the guard's face slowly lost its color as he panted and with a tilted of his head, a loud creak reached everyone's ears.Riyan stared
Effortlessly, he hauled him down the hall with chronological paintings, designs, and pillars. Reaching the door of his bedroom, he was met with a pacing redhead, gasping at the sight of the commander carrying a man to his room."Commander..."."Whatever it is has to wait" he aired bluntly and dismissively, walking past the wolf creature in human form as he nudged in through the doors of his bedroom. The commander sauntered towards his gigantic bed in the middle of the spacious room and tossed his mate on the mattress.Ace weakly grunted as his back touched the fluffy mattress. With a haze gaze, he turned his head to the side to find the commander taking off his shirt, disclosing his tone abdomen. "W-what are you doing?!"Instead of answering, the commander climbed on the bed and began shredding Ace of his clothes, throwing them at the corner of the room while Ace did nothing but lay still, unwilling
He let the water flow down his body, rinsing away every bit of muck, blood, and mud. A hefty sigh left his lips as he thought back to the chagrin he faced earlier, he would never be able to hear the end of it from his mother, the sorrowful gazes from his people. Everything was ravaged, nothing would be the same anymore.Suddenly, fresh anger flowed through his body like lava as he recalled the cocky grin on that Alpha's face and before he could restrain himself, he had fisted the wall, forging a little crack. Why did it have to happen to him?Taking a deep breath, he switched off the shower, wrapped his torso with a towel, and walked out from the bathroom but stopped in his tracks as his eyes landed on the figure sitting comfortably on his new bed."You!"Alpha Xavier smirked, standing on his feet, facing the other. "Hello, Jett. Hope you had a nice bath since you haven't had that in a w
