Callie flashes her eyes out into the crowd of people. I see how Grant smiles back at her. There could have been worse people that Callie could have been mated too.

“How long have you known?”

“Do we have to do this now?” She mutters back. “They are all waiting for you to say something.”

I look out at the waiting Lycans. “Callie will be standing in as secondary Beta shortly after the ceremony.”

“Where are you going?” She glares at Linc, “And why haven’t you told me?”
