Better late than never. I manage to cook Tate and I some dinner and plate some up for Colette, in case she gets overly hungry in the night. Silver swords and machine guns. We left Mav, Colette and Rayna to bond as a family. Mav was going to take some time off to help Colette recover and spend time with their new addition. With Colette being human she would take around six weeks to recover post-partum and she would need some extra hands. They planned for Mav to stay for the first week and then tell her parents that he had been called away…they were of course human and had no idea of the secret life Colette lives. Just you and me. I’m still in wet clothes but I am wrapped in a towel and standing in the middle of the front room. Hong and Axel have both removed their clothes and are wearing towels wrapped around their waists, showing their pecks and six packs. An alpha comes to visit. Senses training had slightly improved. We were now having to try and use our senses whilst under water. A protective lie. I hear Lance screaming for me as he runs towards me. Whoever fired the bullets has been tackled to the ground and restrained already. I’m in too much pain and covered in too much blood to make out who it is. I am struggling to focus on the scene in front of me. My eyes become blurry.“Aida…Aida stay with me!” Lance shouts as he cups my face. His voice seems far away. I resort to lip reading to make out what he is saying to me. “Axel….not me, Axel.” I croak out with the little strength I have left.
