Chapter One Hundred & Nine

A revelation in the woods.

My wolf had a very strong feeling to go to the tree line when I noticed activity on night watch the night before the attack. I couldn’t explain it, it was just a gut feeling I had. But I knew I couldn’t go alone, I would never do that to Lance or Axel. Florence and Jade wouldn’t have me making my own food, so they were currently putting a massive luncheon on the dining table. Typical shifters…the smell of food and they come running. Within minutes, Axel and I were joined by the lycans, Tate, and the Mulder family. Lance lovingly kissed my neck but then went on to pick out sausages, burgers and bacon. He went for the French fries but a growl from my chest made it very clear I had first dibs. He chuckled at my behaviour before standing me up, sitting on my chair and then pulling me into his lap. Chairs had clearly been borrowed from pack member’s homes to fit all the guests around the table.

Isn’t she already marked? Remember Aida was upset bc she played a role in her being forcefully marked to break the family connection she was using to feed info to her family - aka the rebels? She can’t hate him if that’s already been sacrificed.

ah these last chapters have been a little lack luster and I'm confused at where this is going but I still have faith hopefully the next chapters will tie everything together. I was for sure the person Aida recognized was going to be her brother and he was behind the rebels.
