Meanwhile, back at Isiah Pack,

Selena's POV

Life has been weird since I've been back home. Axel was nervous about leaving his pack to his Beta, but we promised our brother that we would be here until he got back. We had a few rogue problems, but we handled that issue. I think they knew my brother wasn't here, so they tried to sneak inside to take a few things. They were wrong. We were right at the edge when they appeared. They thought it would be easy to get around us until I shifted into my lycan, ripping their throats out. Axel joined in, killing a few before the rest ran off. I believe it's best to be prepared for their return with more rogues, potentially stronger ones. I linked my brother to inform him about what was happening. He said he was proud of us and encouraged us to keep up the good work. He also mentioned that Kayla was the king's mate and that she was upset because Lucas hadn't told her. I wanted to laugh, but I knew Lucas was protective of his family, much like Dad, so I refrained from mocking him further. The link ended, and I decided to go get something to eat. Axel was in the office speaking to his Beta about the pack; nothing serious was happening there. He promised he would be back as soon as Isiah returned with his belongings. Gabriella is here with her mate, and they decided to stay for a few days to hang out with us. I heard from Mom and Dad; they were in London and would be coming home after their trip. We all missed them. Wait until I tell them the news; I wonder if they will be as excited as I am. I know Axel will be once I inform him.

Kayla pov

After dad told us what had been going on with Luna, I wanted to freak out and head to where she was at. But dad told me to try and calm down there was no use to going to where she was because she was driving to come here, I had to calm down, she was my big sister, she knew what to do, dad had taught her well, she to went on collections with dad before i was born, she was more of a bad ass then i was, She went off to college to get her degree, I was excited about seeing her, i sure had missed her, I was in the living room when my lycan started to talking, my birthday was tomorrow, i knew i would be shifting and i was really nervous about this, how am i going to shift into a lycan and than a wolf or vice versa, i mean it's going to be painful, so every morning i went outside to train with my new friend i liked her, She was as strong as i was and we taught each other new moves, if she found out a new move she would teach me and i would do the same with her, i even showed her how to shoot a gun, today was a day off, nothing new to investagate since Jasmine had ran to save her life, now she was on her way back to talk to us, noone can know about this because if anyone knew it could be dangrous for her, My lycan started talking like i said, i was trying to ignore her so i could relax but that wasn't happening, since my wolf decided to chime in with her, Aurora, was a little bit of a nut case, she loves to bounce around in my head, but today she was strangly calm, it was ten at night when they started talking, i didnt know what was going on until they told me that we needed to get some place safe so we could shift, When she walked out the door to get out side she started to worry, she linked her parents letting them know what was going on, she was in the middle of the yard when they came running up to her, this was it, the moon was finally all the way up, she looked up into the night sky noticing it as actually a full moon, No wonder they were so active, wolves and Lycans were always active during a full moon, :

“Dad. What time is it?” He looked down at his watch, looking back up at her, 

Its 11:50 honey we have ten more minutes, let's get to the back yard to be safe, there are guards there to keep us safe during the transformation,” So we hurried around back hoping it wouldn't be to painful, but who am i kidding, it's going to be very painful. Her dad looked at his watch, then back up at her, then said, 

“Five more minutes, honey. Just keep taking deep breaths letting them out, i know your nervous, We are here with you sweetheart,” i just hope it doesn't do what it did when i was sixteen, nothing happened, i didn't shift, that's what i'm really scared of, i started taking deep breaths then letting it out, Dad didn’t tell me what time it was, he only looked at his watch then back up at me, saying 

“Happy twenty-second birthday, sweetheart, we love you,” We stood there for at least five minutes. i looked by the corner of the castle i saw someone walking up toward us, i was disappointed that nothing was happening, i knew this was going to happen, Lucas came walking toward us, he had a look of confusion on his face,

‘What's going on here? Why are y'all back here? My guards sent me a mindlink telling me that you are back here just standing around. What did you find out?” At first, i didn't feel anything at all. It was now ten minutes past my birthday, and i still didn’t feel anything at all. Then Aurora suddenly said, 

“Happy Birthday Kayla, I’m sorry we are taking so long, we were deciding who would you shift into first, Queen picked me since it won't take to long, i will try to take most of the pain away, our mate is here, he will know what to do if it gets to painful,” I wanted to protest, i wasn't ready at all, when I let out the loudest scream i had ever screamed in my life, it made Lucas jump almost a mile high, 

“What the fuck is wrong with yo….” he didnt finish that sentence when he saw me fall forward screaming once again when my bones started breaking, I felt like i was going to pass out, but Aurora kept my going, 

“Come on Kayla, we are far from done honey, take a deep breath the next break is about to happen,” and then my arms broke shifting in a weird way, I didn't notice Lucas kneeling beside me trying to run his hands in circles to try and soothe me. He was trying to take some of the pain away, it work some but not all, My back arched up and i felt my face itching all over, i looked down and saw my face bulging out, my legs started shiting in a very weird way, then my whole body started itching, what the fuck is wrong with me, When i looked up at Lucas, i wanted to scream at him telling him to get away from me, but it turned out to be a growl. i finally just closed my eyes letting the rest of the shift to happen, when it was finally done, I heard my mothers voice, 

“Kayla honey, are you okay?” When i opened my eyes i looked down at the ground, i saw furry paws, my wolf form was finally complete, i knew i was going to be in another form of pain i looked at my fur, it was pretty cool looking, i was Silver, i wondered what color where my eyes, i mindlinked my mother, asking her what color were my eyes, and she told me, 

“Your eyes are Amber honey, your beautiful,” Nodded knowing it looked a little crazy with a wolf nodding its head, then suddenly i felt another kind of level of pain, i started shiting once again, my legs and arms breaking, my whole body was on fire, i thought i was going to be on fire it was burning so badly, what the hell is happening to me,
