40: We're Over!

After a silent yet tense filled ride, Axel and Peter finally arrived at the majestic resort.

Axel parked his car outside the driveway of the villa.

Meghan rushed outside when she heard the sounds of Axel's car parking outside. She went to the car, excited to see him. To her surprise, not only Axel exited the vehicle, but Peter, as well.

"Why is he here?" she asked in puzzlement, looking at Axel then to Peter. A deep frown appeared on her forehead.

"Let's get inside," Axel replied grimly, heading to the door.

Annoyed that Axel seemed to be ignoring her, she looked at Peter. "Why are you here? What are you doing here? We're already over a long time ago," she asked irritably.

Peter sighed heavily. "You will know everything why I'm here. Let's just get inside the house," he said calmly, ignoring her cold reception of his presence.
