Over the next few weeks, Marcia had settled into the pack thoroughly. While they had still not completed the mating ritual, every night they slept in Marcus’s bed, which had become their bed, and every morning when Marcus went and trained, she met with the girls to train. After they met back up and had breakfast together. Marcia was in awe of how fas
Marcus Carrying her limp body, Marcus ran into the pack house, kicking open doors and not allowing anything to get in his way as he sought care for his Luna. As he ran, all Marcus could think about was that after waiting so long to find his Luna, he was about to lose her, having never really had her. The worst part was that it was not to an enemy but to treachery from inside his own pack, something that he would have believed before. After everything he had given up to be their Alpha, he could not believe that one of his own would do this. Immediately after the incident, Jackson had mind-linked, letting him know the attempted killer had been caught by the crowd and was in a hol
Marcia As he stepped forward onto the front step of the pack house, Marcus looked at the massive crowd of people waiting to hear why they were called to this meeting. He felt a deep level of pride in those who stood in front of him. As he walked past, the pack members lowered their heads and exposed their necks in submission. When he reached the front, he looked back at Beta Jackson, who stood in the doorway with Marcia, waiting to start the announcement. In such a short time, this human woman had taken his heart, and judging by her interactions with others in the pack, he was not the only one to feel this way. She had shown respect and love for all those she had met, quickly filling the role of Luna, even though she had yet to take the title.
Marcia “As a newcomer here, I have watched and tried to learn your ways, and I am impressed at what I have seen. The Blue Moon Pack is both brave and strong, but they do not treat all of their members equally. This inequality seems to stem less from intentional denial and more from acceptance of what has always been”. The blunt words drew grunts and growls from the men present who had worked tirelessly to change their pack and make it a better place for everyone. A deafening growl quieted everyone as Dax reacted to others growling at his mate. Before they could interrupt her, she continued. “While the human world has acknowledged that gender norms have less to do with ability and more to do with perception. There are women in this pack who are as skilled as
Marcia Over the next few weeks, Marcia had settled into the pack thoroughly. While they had still not completed the mating ritual, every night they slept in Marcus’s bed, which had become their bed, and every morning when Marcus went and trained, she met with the girls to train. After they met back up and had breakfast together. Marcia was in awe of how fast her reflexes were getting, and for the first time in her life, she felt strong and capable even when the sisters knocked the breath from her for the fifth time that session. At breakfast, she spoke to those who ate at the pack house, laughing and joking. It took her a while to recognize the feeling she was experiencing; she felt like she had found a home here and had never been happier. During the days, Marc
Marcia The training ground was a hive of well-organized activity. Marcia was shocked at the number of men who showed up for training and the ferocity with which they fought. Injuries seemed to be taken in stride and did not slow or stop training. In the field, Marcus fought a man who looked familiar, but she could not place him. When the large man managed to slip a fist past Marcus's guard and make contact, she gasped. It caused his neck to snap back so hard that she was concerned about permanent damage. The violence should have bothered her more than it did. Instead of being horrified, as she normally was of violence, it was making her want to take him back to their room and finish what they had started previously.
Marcia Marcia woke feeling more rested than she had ever remembered being. As she stretched, she quickly realized that she was not in her bed, and she cracked her eye slightly. Her breath caught as she remembered what the last days had brought. She had gone from her peaceful existence, caring for wolves with her best friend, to somehow having lost her home and best friend, but found a new home and a life mate. It was too much to even try to think about, given the early hour. The clock on the wall showed her that it was 4:45, and given the darkness outside the window, she could assume it was morning. While this was her normal time to wake up, she was shocked that after all that had happened, she had not slept longer. As she started to sit up, she had to stop her gasp,
