Amber and I sat on the freezing cold ground for close to ten minutes before her teeth started chattering so bad that I couldn't understand her.
Once she had climbed back into her car I shifted and prepared to face the music, knowing full well that Trent had sat the entire time just outside of my safe zone, and had no doubt listened to whole conversation between us.
I had barely taken two steps over the line when Trent's wolf emerged from behind the trees to my right and took a seat.
