Chapter 15

"Yea... Something like that" Christopher said with a sullen look. Garrett wasn't surprised by any means when he heard the response. With Christopher's skills there was no doubt in his mind. He either was a soldier or an assassin. It was easy to see he was used to killing. Garrett's only concern is that he may be a little to comfortable with killing. The other thing that Garrett could not wrap his head around was how young he was. The empire at times could be cruel and merciless but no one would set foot on the battlefield unless they were at least 18. There was the occasional mercenary company they would employ that might have one or two people under the age but they usually would avoid companies that used children to fill numbers.

"How long did you fight? How old are you ?" Garrett couldn't help but to ask him. He honestly had many questions for Chris but did not want to push to hard.
