"Marry me" 

"Huh?" Vanessa was struck dumb. His expression still dead serious. After a slight pause though his face returned to the Aloof air head look.

"Well think on it! Any ways I gotta run!" he waved his hand over his shoulder as he ran off like a child late for school. Although in reality he technically was going to school. Although this time not to attend classes.

Vanessa was still standing in the kitchen unmoving. 'Did that really just happen? I mean mom did always say food was the fastest way to a mans heart'

In this moment Sarah and Elise both entered the kitchen when the front door closed. Elise followed her nose to the stove. She stared in awe mouth watering for a moment before she grabbed a spoon and took a bite, her face turned to pure delight then quickly frowned then delight again the process repeating until she finished swallowing the food. It was then she glanced over at Vanessa.
