Sarah and her entourage took a minute of silence to recover and recompose themselves after having valiantly charged in on Elise and Christopher having sex. The men wished them good night and moved to their own room, as Sarah and Vanessa put on their pajamas and prepared for bed. They were in for quite a pleasant surprise, when they saw the room that was prepared for them. It was very spacious brightly painted walls, some paintings decorated the walls, and a king size bed. Surprisingly everything was up to date and the blankets, pillows, and sheets seem to all be made from the finest materials both Sarah and Vanessa sprawled spread eagle on the bed with room to spare still, they could have invited Christopher and Elise to accompany them after all, and still have room to spare.
"Oh this feels like heaven!"
" You know I haven't felt this comfortable since I was forced to leave my old bedroom in the palace. Not just physically, but mentally as well." Sarah wh
"Marry me" "Huh?" Vanessa was struck dumb. His expression still dead serious. After a slight pause though his face returned to the Aloof air head look. "Well think on it! Any ways I gotta run!" he waved his hand over his shoulder as he ran off like a child late for school. Although in reality he technically was going to school. Although this time not to attend classes. Vanessa was still standing in the kitchen unmoving. 'Did that really just happen? I mean mom did always say food was the fastest way to a mans heart' In this moment Sarah and Elise both entered the kitchen when the front door closed. Elise followed her nose to the stove. She stared in awe mouth watering for a moment before she grabbed a spoon and took a bite, her face turned to pure delight then quickly frowned then delight again the process repeating until she finished swallowing the food. It was then she glanced over at Vanessa. "Oh good morning Vanessa, What's going on
Christopher turned twisting Jordan's hand pinning it behind his back and then slammed his head into the table. "AAAH!" Jordan screamed out. "Congratulations, you just touched on the second thing!" growled Christopher. A few of Jordan's friends jumped up from their seats about to rush to their friends aid. Christopher grabbed Jordan's head and slammed it into the table "Every step you take I will smash his fucking face into this table!" Roared Christopher. One of the students ignored his warning began walking towards him. Christopher looked directly at the student and slammed Jordan's head into the table two times for each step he took forward. He leaned in closely and whispered into Jordan's ear. "Let me cue you in on something, my family is the one subject you never.. Ever.. Want to touch on." "Fuck you and your whore mother!" "HAHA you fucking nobles think you're untouchable. Let me tell you." Christopher slammed his head
" I need your help, please." For a moment Angela couldn't help but to feel unsure of herself. In the past she had seen her share of violence, but never like this or so close to it. What she found hardest to bare was the man she knew for some time now had always managed to brush aside any insults they had thrown at him. If they ever got physical sure he would fight back but he would only ever give as good as they would try to give it. Today she witnessed such hatred and aggression she never thought him possible of. For a moment she hesitated, but only for a moment. "Ok let's go." She smiled as she took his extended hand. Everyone in the classroom was stunned. The girl was braver then they themselves were. A few expected her to be terrified and were attempting to work up the courage to help her if need be. Angela looked at Christopher and the hand holding her own . The oppressive atmosphere was now gone. Almost as if it had never existed. His usual aloof smile he alway
"So after I Valiantly charged in and saved the day completely and one hundred percent willingly and I took the bar owners daughter back here so they could escape the slavery ring for good." Christopher finished his tale outside the door of his home. .... "Hey what's with that look. You don't believe me do you?" Christopher asked with a raised eyebrow feigning disbelief. "Well forgive me for being skeptical but I've known you for quite some time and there are very few situations I can believe you voluntarily helping someone." "Ouch, that hurt...A lot actually. Think I even heard my heart breaking for a moment." Pfffft "Gotta have a heart for it to break." Christopher stared at her in disbelief " Man you are being especially vicious today! Beauties are supposed to be nice. Well fine you can ask them yourself." He said sighing deeply as he opened the door. The moment he opened the door Garrett and Braum reached for their weapons then noti
"One day I promise I'll tell you everything if you wish to know." After Christopher told her this she looked very sad until he noticed her expression and added " It's not that I don't trust you but Some things need to be taken care of before I give you answers. You're one of the few remaining people in this world that I trust." She smiled at these words, her hesitation now gone. "Ok I'll help you, but promise me that you will come back home once you're done.... Come back to me ok." It took him only a minute before he cued in on what she meant. "I promise I will." He leaned in and kissed her on the cheek and smiling at her gently. "Well Alright, do you have a plan?" Reluctant to let the moment end. Even with all the risk she was about to commit to, she had a big smile. "Hey now, you're not trying to put the moves on my back up girl number four are you!?" An all to familiar voice called out. "Hey Thomas come on up. Although you'll
"You mean to tell me it has already been almost two full days since the Princess disappeared and no one has been able to find her? Even now still not a single clue?" Although the voice sounded calm and composed if one listened close enough you could hear a tremble in it."Yes Father, unfortunately being none of our soldiers know what she looks like yet and very few nobles have ever met her." Answered another man. Unlike the first man speaking this man anyone could hear the fear in his voice, almost as if he was a pin drop from his voice going shrill. These men and few others were gathered in a Great hall that was lined wall to wall with the very best of antiques, and paintings. Massive towering pillars Engraved with gold and silver intertwining, although silver was not a highly sought valuable. The mix gave the engravings a beauty rarely seen. The two men speaking were the most powerful and influential people of this nation. It was King Robert Velan, and Prince Halbert
"Aaaah man I gotta say this feels great! I don't know how much longer I could stand being cooped up at that damn school full of stiff nobles!""Thomas, you are a noble..""I refuse!" It almost looked as if he was striking a triumphant pose while denying the truth.'I don't really think its something you get to refuse' Chris thought to himself. Either way Chris couldn't help but to enjoy the atmosphere, he loved his home and having Elise in his life but absolutely hated the city Abael. But when honestly it didn't seem to matter where he went, bad memories seemed to accompany him. Although there was still good ones, but thinking about them hurt just as much some times."The breeze up here does feel amazing though doesn't it?" Elise smiled. She was in the passenger seat of a wagon that was loaded up with crates. Chris and Thomas were both posted up top of the crates, they were on their way to the eastern gate of the city part of a small convoy consisting of
Getting past the checkpoint went quick for their group. Having the men hired by Angela speed it up exponentially. Having done this dozens of times they had everything prepared come their turn. The group bid farewell to the guards. Everyone happily told their stories, their feats on the battlefield, their family life, their love lives, although they were mercenaries they were all quite friendly. Christopher and the others were surprised to find out that two of them had been soldiers that were discharged from the army. The thing that really stood out was they had actually been enemies. One from the empire, one from the Kingdom of Albrael. Apparently they even fought in some of the same battles. When you looked at their interactions though, you would have thought they were family or long time best friends. The fact they were able to get along so well and not hold grudges showed quite a bit about their character. After a few hours on the road they pulled the wagons off to the sid
