Chapter 97

At the feet of the monsters it looked as if a black mist followed in their footsteps, but in reality it was small black orbs that was leaving a trail of smoke behind them. As the army of lost souls and Albrael clashed the orbs maneuvered between the chaos slithering their way past the front line.

"The rain is coming!" The mage captain called out over the pitch of battle. The sky behind him was dyed in a brilliant light, as if the sky itself was on fire. Dozens of fireballs began raining down from the sky crashing into the minions of Brisia, Hundreds of the creatures went poof into a black smoke. Although it took a nice chunk of the monsters with them in the bombardment, it was as if their numbers were replaced just as quickly. No one was able to see a large distance in front of them, but there was no end in sight.

"Well this doesn't look good." Alexis was always looking for a challenge, but this time may be a little more then what he was looking for.
