Chapter twenty-one: Her Flawed Resolutions' Results

Stella carried the bouquet of flowers and rolled her arm around Brandon’s as they walked towards the guest room. “Dad, I’ll miss you despite the fact that you never loved me.” She stared at him but he avoided eye contact with her.

“We will visit each other, why would you miss me? Besides, I love you, it’s just that-” She interrupted him. “It’s just that money is way more important than me.” She sang annoyingly. He finally looked at her with trembling lips. “No Stella-”
