Azlynn’s P.O.V.

“Shouldn’t you be in your king’s chamber right now?”

Standing in a dimly lit corridor, I was startled to see Prince Hadley. He wasn’t locked in any cell like Xavion said. A sly smirk toyed his lips as he stepped forward, staring at me from head to toe.

“A freshly marked female omega wandering in a prison crawling with sex-starved beasts!

How scandalous!

Isn’t your mate enough for you, the prophecy girl?”

Hadley’s hungry gaze nauseated me to the core, but I held my guard and faced him bravely.

“My personal life is none of your business, Prince.”

Hadley leaned against the wall, crossing his arms over his chest. His voice was laced with lechery as he commented on my appearance.

“I must say, my brother has an excellent taste. Even in these baggy clothes, your hourglass figure is quite captivating.

And yesterday, my goodness!

You were looking exotic in wet clothes.”

He bit his lower lip, provoking me intentionally. He was trying his best to manipulate me into

Azlynn’s P.O.V.I gasped, stumbling back a step. My hand instinctively went to cover my belly as I asked.“Did you see that, Xavion? A red cross!”This bizarre sight shook Xavion too. He growled loudly.“Why didn’t you tell me that before, idiots? We are investigating red cross murders.”The older one made a pitiful face. “You never asked, Alpha.”Goddess!I punched Xavion’s shoulder, pulling him back to my worries. “I have seen this symbol before. It’s not a carving, but a magical spell. Oracle Delilah burned the same mark into uncle Earl’s skin when she made the second prophecy.”Voicing my horrors, I narrated the tale of the incidents in the west kingdom. Xavion’s eyes bulged out of their sockets as he listened to the latest changes in my behavior. He struggled to believe that I was the one who captured the vampire attacker in the forest. But he remained silent, letting me explain.“Besides all the incidents in the west, one thing is more important. My dad’s last lette

  • Football Star: The Jerk Alpha's Redemption    I swear!

Azlynn’s P.O.V.The sun arched high over the Salvatore castle, casting golden glow through the towering glass windows and draping the stone halls in warmth and festivity. Everywhere I went, servants bustled with gold trays. Musicians rehearsed soft melodies in the garden courtyard, and garlands of the moon lilies were stung along the banisters. The kingdom was alive, celebrating the arrival of the royal heir. And yet, I hadn’t a moment to breathe. From the second I stepped through the grand archway of the castle, I was whisked from one chamber to another, surrounded by the healers, midwives, and royal physicians. Each murmuring diagnostic performed scans, checking my pulse, my aura, and the bond mark. “She is stable!”One of the elder doctors finally said with a nod of approval. “But the mating mark’s magic has been amplified. Her Highness will need emotional and physical stability to avoid a surge during the last trimester.” “Which means!” Another added, grinning at me.

  • Football Star: The Jerk Alpha's Redemption    Hope

Azlynn’s P.O.V.I looked down at Hayley as my breath hitched, trembling my heart. Xavion stiffened beside me, slowly turning towards her. His expressions shifted from stunned to wide-eyed joy in a heartbeat.“You want to go back?” He asked in awe. Hayley nodded shyly. “Yes, savior uncle. Mommy smiles more when you are around. I wish to see her smile daily.”I laughed at Hayley’s response, a choking sound of disbelief and tenderness. But before I could say a word, Xavion bent down swiftly and scooped her into his arms.“My princess!” He spoke happily, “Do you know what you just did?” Hayley glanced at him with incredulity.“No, savior uncle.”“You saved me!” Xavion said, his voice hoarse with emotions.“I was so scared to ask her that. But you!”He held her up like she was made of starlight as she giggled in delight. “You gave me hope, Hayley. Now, I understand why Azlynn calls you her precious honey. Indeed, you can add sweetness to the bitter lives, princess.”Hayley

  • Football Star: The Jerk Alpha's Redemption    The news

Azlynn’s P.O.V.“Azlynn?”Xavion was stunned, reaching out. His hand hovered over mine around his neck, as if unsure I would strangle him or not. The sharp pain seized my lower belly, so brutal that I couldn’t pay attention to the delicious sparks dancing on my skin. I staggered, clutching Xavion’s shoulder.“You should speak less and listen more!”Bella surged to the surface with such a ferocity that it blurred my vision. All I could hear was her voice, screaming to remind me. “Mark him, Ann. Our child is in danger.”This pregnancy without bond completion was already a miracle, so wasting a second more was harming my baby. As everything could wait, I slid my hand to Xavion’s nape and bent him forward, rising on my tiptoes. With a growl, I slammed my lips against the base of his neck.“W-What?”Xavion gasped, losing his mind. But I didn’t let him utter nonsense anymore and extended my teeth, swiftly biting him down. The taste of his blood, ash, and something ancient flooded i

  • Football Star: The Jerk Alpha's Redemption    A visit

Azlynn’s P.O.V.For a moment, I let myself breathe freely and then, this low and deep howl rang through the trees. It was like carved from the marrow of the earth, shaking the leaves. It curled like smoke through the cracks in the walls and into our bones. Even Arthur shuddered after his query.Uncle Earl stuttered in response. “I-It’s a wolf call. Did you hear it, little princess?”I froze as the laughter died down on the balcony. Skylar stepped to the railing, her brows knit.“That came from the ridge near the border.”Arthur was already moving to the door, instincts flaring. “Stay here. I’ll check why there is a wolf howling in our territory?”He was going to look around for the identity of the intruder, but I knew it. I felt it before my wolf even stirred! The mark on my neck pulsed once, an agonizing tug that nearly knocked me out of my senses. My heart sank in my chest.“No! It can’t be him.”However, that voice, that howl, the way it tore into the sky like a blade of m

  • Football Star: The Jerk Alpha's Redemption    Crucial question

Azlynn’s P.O.V.“I am what?”The world stopped as silence rang in my ears louder than any scream. My vision blurred, not from the tears, but from the way the room tilted as though gravity had suddenly changed. My lips parted to scream, but no sound came out of it.Skylar stepped closer, placing a trembling hand on my shoulder. “It’s early, but blood work has confirmed it.That’s the reason your condition destabilized so quickly. It’s reacting to a new life inside you.”My hand flew to my mouth to stifle an involuntary shriek as I shook my head. “No, I can’t be pregnant. Our bond was never completed. And I didn’t cheat on Xavion. Then how?”Skylar sat beside me. Her eyes were soft, like her voice. “You consummate your bond, and the Moon Goddess blessed your union. It’s not impossible to have a baby after being mated. It’s heaven’s decision ...”Breathing heavily, I grabbed Skylar’s hand, pouring my heart out. “I can’t do this. Not now. Not with Xavion’s child. I don’t know who h

  • Football Star: The Jerk Alpha's Redemption    The attacker

Azlynn’s P.O.V.The forest groaned with the wind as the trees pressed closer, tall and brooding. I didn’t hesitate and launched at the attacker as the stench of blood danced into my nose.Bleeding from the shoulder, uncle Earl’s wolf was yelping in pain. My instincts roared as Bella didn’t give that cloaked man a chance to run.“You tried to kill my family. How dare you!”Growling fiercely, I slashed again, blood cold and pulsing over my hands. He shrieked as I ripped into his cloak and flesh, pinning him to the ground with a force I didn’t know I possessed. All I could see was red, thrashing him beneath me. I couldn’t stop, although that vampire’s face barely looked human anymore beneath the fury I unleashed on him. Yes!A vampire! The awful smell of blood was an enough sign for his identity. All my doubts were confirmed after seeing his pale face under the cloak. He was the one attacking the innocent werewolves.I would have killed that monster on the spot if it wasn’t for

  • Football Star: The Jerk Alpha's Redemption    Plan B

Azlynn’s P.O.V.“Mommy???”Bella’s straight refusal scared Hayley badly. She wasn’t used to hearing such firmness in my tone. “Why are you mad at me, mommy’s wolf? Am I a bad girl?”My precious honey cautiously concealed Bella’s name, sprinkling salt over my injury. I scolded her immediately.“What the hell is wrong with you, Bella? How can you be so rude to our little girl? Shame on you!”My fury knocked some sense in my wolf’s head. She swiftly softened her tone.“You are a good girl, Hayley. I love you. But I can’t shift today. Please try to understand.”As she refused politely, Hayley nodded, acting like a sensible kid. “I won’t trouble you, mommy!”My wolf didn’t give any reason for shutting us out, so Arthur spoke sadly.“I have heard that wolves love to shift and run in the wild. But you aren’t interested in going out with us. It seems you don’t consider us your friends.”His pitiful speech drowned me in the sea of embarrassment. I tried to handle this moment w

  • Football Star: The Jerk Alpha's Redemption    The reason behind chaos

Azlynn’s P.O.V.The sun was dipping low, casting burnt gold light along the building’s wall, illuminating the face of that lady. That woman, named Delilah, was in her mid-thirties. Her sharp eyes behind the filth and matted hair were surprisingly calm. She had wailed in agony a few minutes ago without any reason. But now, despite her neck in uncle’s claws, she was as cool as cucumber, sickening me to the stomach. Please don’t take me wrong, but any woman with the name Delilah was my enemy because of prophecy. So, my hatred was petty, yet justified. I couldn’t stand the sight of that nut job and asked uncle Earl. “If she is your acquaintance, then please keep her away from my eyes, uncle. You know what I mean.”Shaking in fury, uncle didn’t utter a single word in response, glaring at her angrily. Arthur leaned in and whispered in my ear. “She must be that old hag’s ex-wife.”I shook my head slowly. “Nope, uncle’s mate is dead. She must be his hidden foe!”The breeze lifted D
