The sounds of birds outside the open windows woke me up. It was morning already? I didn’t even remember falling asleep. I opened my eyes slowly, letting them adjust to the light, and sat up. Raising my eyes, having a big stretch and letting out a loud groan. I turned over, expecting to see Cole, but he wasn’t there… and part of me wasn’t even surprised.
