CHAPTER EIGHT

In the dead of the night, when the moon hung high and the stars shimmered in the velvety sky, Prince Edon found himself trapped in the clutches of restlessness. Sleep, elusive as a fleeting shadow, danced just beyond his grasp. His mind, ensnared by thoughts of the enigmatic forest, refused to release its hold.

Tossing and turning upon his bed, the prince sought solace in the embrace of slumber. Yet, the forest's allure beckoned to him with an irresistible call, whispering secrets that only the moonlit glades could divulge. With a sigh of resignation, he knew sleep would elude him this night.

Rising from his bed, Prince Edon stood tall and resolute, his gaze fixated upon the ethereal glow emanating from the window. The chamber, adorned with tapestries depicting ancient battles and heroic deeds, seemed stifling in comparison to the wild freedom that awaited him beyond the castle walls.
