Chapter 0006

#Chapter4

Torn-01

Ashley's POV

I moved up slowly as they pulled me, not caring about the chains anymore but he still gave me those eyes that I had come to deeply hate. This was worse than betrayal.

Everywhere was silent and it seemed deafening a bit, my anger was burning in me, heartbreaking tugging at every bit of my chest, so much that I couldn't breathe. I was the one to be sent away.

"Dark Moon!" He shouted and everyone else kept quiet with their faces still pumped in anger and hate towards me.

"This little imp was close to my mother, so close that she would tell her anything! She knew when she slept and when she rose and she knew, she knew, the kind of drugs she took!"

The screams were so loud that I had to hide my tears.

"You! You transpired with someone! You gave the guards sleeping potions in their foods, so you would let the murderer sneak in and kill her, didn't you?"

"Yes! I gave Ashley kitchen duty today before sending her out to the garden! The wicked girl lied that it was her birthday," I heard a voice call out and I turned to see the chief maid. My eyes widened and looked to see Riya in the crowd, hiding her face.

What the fuck was going on? She gave me a rake!

"It wasn't a lie," I mumbled due to the pain when I wanted to scream but as they were werewolves, they held me. "I worked in the garden first thing this morning."

The screams of "shut up" and "murderer" rose into the air along with the dust.

I turned to my mate, "I didn't do it, why would you do this? Why would I do that?" I asked and he came towards me dragging my chain, causing me to choke with pain.

"You know why," He replied and turned to the pack. "From this day forward and for eternity, Ashley Everest has been exiled from the pack, she is now considered a rogue. If she is found packless or even near the border lines, you're allowed to kill her."

Ouch.

It hurt so much, my bond was tearing apart as they screamed in approval, looking like they wanted to start the job now. The pack bond was torn from me and it made me feel naked and unwanted.

"And you're supposed to be mine?" I asked, with tears in my eyes, wishing that I could slap him. Or anything.

"That's the reason why you're not dying today. I'm not yours and will never be. I reject you, and you're welcome to accept it, and if you don't, that's your loss."

"Iziah-"

"You disgust me."

My heart dropped as I looked up at the man that was supposed to love me for the rest of my life. My wolf whimpered and I frowned slightly. His pack was screaming like a bunch of monsters, they wanted me gone and by the look on his face, it seemed like he was going to hand me over.

"I didn't do it Iziah, I-" I tried to beg, crawling closer but I was dragged back without mercy by a guard whose claws were scraping my back, it made me whimper in pain.

"The only person that can save you is you. Run from here. But just know something, the only fucking reason why I'm not ending you right now, is because you're my- just fucking leave!" His body shook with anger and I stared confused, was he going to hurt me?

I moved back shakily as the pack shouted behind me. How would I run from this? Why won't they believe me? I loved her too, I saw a shadow, I didn't do it.

A deep growl resonated from behind me and I turned around to see him, fully transformed with his claws begging for my blood. This made me stand up but I was soon pulled back down with claws digging into my flesh. The pack roared, happy with their heartless Alpha for what he did.

His big wolf turned me around and I stared into its white eyes in fear. No black irises, this was not the man I fell for. This wasn't my mate.

The next thing happened in a blur, one of his claws came down on my right eye, slashing through it.

My mouth stayed open in pain, tears running down the left one. I open my right eye at the sting and was still happy deep within that I could see. I cried on the floor and had to stand up, they were roaring with happiness and I had to leave.

I had to run away, just like he asked. I closed my eyes, getting tired of my wolf's rejection until I heard a whim that broke my heart.

"We will not accept his rejection, we must make him suffer too, a scar for a scar."

I couldn't say a thing, I was just too real, I just needed us to transform, even though it would be bloody painful, I needed us to leave here.

And just for a moment, I couldn't feel myself on my brain leash anymore. Insane strength coursed through every part of my body and I stood up suddenly. Everyone stopped shouting and I saw some of them moving back from me in fear.

I knew doing this would make them believe that they were right, not that I didn't care anymore. They had lost me. I let out a loud growl and tore out the silver chain from my neck.

I turned and saw Iziah and just for a moment, I almost saw my wolf break but she didn't. Instead, she came out in her full form, tearing through my skin and it was not in any way painful. I shifted perfectly, like a shifter that had been running for years and the pack parted through for me as I landed on the ground on all four, leaping away.
