“Where are you going?” Darius asked as I stood up from the couch and began to walk out of the chambers.

“I’m heading to my room,” I answered without turning back to look at him.

I had already had enough, I couldn’t wait any longer. I just wanted to be in my room.

“Are you okay, Lily?” He asked again, I was sure he noticed the pain in my voice.

“I’m fine,” I replied sharply.

I couldn’t believe Darius was seriously asking me if I was okay after what the chief had just revealed.
