Chapter 7

"You take care, huh!" Kyle had been reminding me to text him or update him about whatsoever while I was rushing to finish packing all my things. Yeah, I should have done this yesterday but what could I say? My laziness outsmarted me.

"Hey, you forgot these."

I stopped combing my hair and looked at what he was handing me. "Oh, vitamins. God, how could I forget?" I grabbed it from his hand and put it in my tote bag. "Thank you, Kyle!" I tapped his cheek. "You're a saviour."

He smiled and bowed his head while I went back in front of my whole body mirror and combed my hair again.

"What are you still doing here, by the way?" I asked as I sprayed my favourite vanilla scent on my body. "You should be on the way to work now!"

"Yes, I'm just waiting for you." He shrugged.

"Why?" I crossed my arms over my shoulder.

He stares at me longer without uttering a word which sent a little weirdness to my nerve. He cleared his throat before he finally looked away and scratched his head.
