My lips parted in annoyance, but then I pursed them, keeping my poise. I sniffed too before I shrugged. “Did you brush your teeth before going here?” I asked with a curious expression.

Her jaw dropped in disbelief. She then laughed sarcastically. “My breath always smells good. Vance knows that very well. Ask him.”

Her sweet smile sent annoyance all over my squeezing chest. I swallowed deeply. Calm down, Sofia. I lifted my chin up with my eyes screaming in confidence.

“Is that so?” I arched my brow. “Okay then, I’ll ask him. But I doubt he wants to talk about you.” I walked near her and whispered, “You don't interest him anymore.” I put a sad expression on my face. “Do you know that?”

Her brows trembled, and her eyes started getting gloomy. Somehow I felt bad. I looked away and bit my lower lip. Her eyes became teary. What was it between him and Vance, truly?
