Chapter 38: Bullies Bullied

“Make up your mind, Alex. Am I a maggot or a dead fish?” I said casually. Alex had lifted me slightly and pressed against the wall with both hands. He was strong as he looks and his two friends behind him, flexed their knuckles as if trying to intimidate me. I looked up at the sky beyond the tall buildings and I saw despair. The clouds seemed to frown at me, told me something unfathomable.

“Where is your friend, Luke? Did he run away, afraid to face me outside campus?” Alex groaned. I veered my vision towards Alex.
