Chapter Fifteen
The next morning Serenity woke up and dashed to Alexander's room. He was still asleep. So she went back to freshen up. Lucas went to check up on Alexander. He saw that he had woken up and freshened up too. Kathy was just leaving after giving him a glass of warm milk and biscuits.
"Hey, dude, how are you feeling now?" He asked, checking his face. The swelling had reduced a lot.
"Alive," said Alexander with a grin. "Thanks for saving me."
Lucas looked down at his hands. "You could have informed me, Alex. Why did You go to fight without informing anyone?" He asked in a hurt tone.
"You would have got upset and maybe would have informed uncle Eric," said Alexander, knowing that Lucas was hurt. He too felt bad but he couldn't help it.
