Chapter Twenty
Lucas woke up the next morning with a heavy heart. He was wild with anger last night and took an extreme step in his temper. It was Sunday and he felt a strange restlessness within him. The whole day he drove around aimlessly. At dinner time he didn't want to face Alexander so he returned home late. He found out that Alexander hadn't arrived for dinner. His parents were worried as he had never missed an opportunity to spend time with them.
The next day he woke up early to get ready for college. He didn't want to go back to his apartment to face Alexander but he had to go get his books and get ready for college. He got ready for college and Serenity still hadn't emerged from her room. He hadn't seen her since Saturday night. Their parents were worried about her. Lucas left for college, stopping at their apartment to get his things. He wouldn't live there with Alexander anymore.
