Chapter Twenty-One

Five years later 

Serenity tried very hard to move on but couldn't. She was still stuck on that dreadful night when she lost her Lex forever. Heartache was something that she had learned to live with. She couldn't forgive Lucas during the initial year. She had enrolled in Lucas's college to pursue her passion, Interior Designing but at the back of her mind, she was always worried about Alexander. Initially, she had no clue where he was and what he was doing. However, a year after that dreadful night, a small article on the sports page of the national newspaper had caught Liam's attention. He had brought it to her and she was astonished at what she read.
